Q: Would it work for Construction uses?

This is an emergency repair product.It's not suitable for long term use.Product is meant to be used until the pipe is repaired or replaced.

Q: Does this work on connection points? I have a 1/2" inch copper T-connector that is leaking at one of the connections.

No, it would not. Straight pipe temporary repair only. Go to home depot, describe your problem and get some sharkbite fittings and a pipe cutter. Good luck!

Q: will this work on a busted air line on a semi-trailer rig?

I can tell you it works great for it's intended use, not sure how much higher your air line pressure is as compared to water probably just have to give it a try.

Q: Is this a clam shell type clamp or does it only slip over a pipe that has one end free (totally disconnected)?
