Firstly, I'm not an electrically savvy type of person but I found the installation of the unit fairly easy. The cage that the unit pushes into is straight forward and just needs some tabs bending outwards to secure it within the dashboard, the unit then pushes into this and locks into position and can only be removed with the supplied keys. There are some reviews that mention about it being too complicated to fit unless you are a confident/qualified installer, I just googled the wiring set up for my old unit and then matched it to the new one, thankfully all the colour coding of the wires matched so it was really easy to see which old wire connected to which new wire, I then used spade connectors to make sure the connection was solid. The operation of the unit itself is pretty easy, the instructions are basic but a few minutes of button pushing was all I needed to work it out, but to be honest all you need is to set the time and date and tune in the FM radio. The main reason I bought this was for Apple Carplay and I have to say it works perfectly, the touchscreen is flawless and responds very well, all the usual setting are there and work as expected, I've fitted it to a 2005 Mini Cooper so its a real bonus to have it compared to the old unit which only had FM radio or a Bluetooth connection for music. One thing that really surprised me was the quality of the sound, I replaced a Sony unit and I'd say they were fairly well renowned for sound quality but this system is a lot better, much more clarity and the bass is far better. I'm under no illusions this is a cheap Chinese non branded product so longevity may be an issue, but so far so good and up until now I'd say it was money well spent

Disconnects from phone when you need it most. Poor radio signal. Equaliser changes back after turning volume dial. Great reverse camera and I like the fact that the screen slides away. Those are the only 2 positives. Since installing it I’ve had no audio in the van because I get frustrated by the radio frequency noise. I still end up using my phone as a satnav. So decided to invest in a second phone that does a better job. I still use this device as a reverse camera.

Bought this from the reviews expected it to serve its purpose, it didn’t. Installed by myself (electrician) Every time you use CarPlay or any function of that sort the screen boot loops intermittently. Otherwise this product would be brilliant the screen, resolution installation relatively simple. Refund was issued no quarrels.

Pros: Easy to install Wireless CarPlay works for iPhone automatically when ignition is turned on Maps and other apps work well Cons: Audio EQ settings change whenever you adjust volume up or down - really annoying FM radio doesn’t work well - for some reason it can’t pick up some local stations (Dublin, Ireland) There’s a 1-second delay whenever you press a button / change a song Connectivity sometimes interrupted / cuts out randomly while driving - I haven’t identified a reason for this Unit occasionally freezes / becomes unresponsive while driving and has to reset itself Overall, I paid about £100 for this, which is about right. I think I will upgrade for a known good brand in the future, but for now it’s ok.

Received this on Friday installed yesterday didn't bother with the camera lead as don't need it. stereo looks really good but when driving the radio constantly cuts out and the screen goes blank camera icon keeps coming up on the screen very annoying. Trying to contact the seller to see if they can resolve the issue

What can I say but.. 5 star rating.. I had a minor problem with this unit after I installed on my BMW Z4.. I emailed the company and they returned reply the very next day with great feedback on how to resolve the issue I was having. The customer support was outstanding.. The unit its self a very well made and very easy to install.. The sound is very good. Nice deep bass line.. I like the ease of use with the onscreen display. The unit connected to my steering wheel buttons with a simple setup within the onscreen functions with ease.. The handsfree phone connection is very good with easy to read on the display. I inserted a micro sd card with music on and it picked it up with no problem.. Just remembered to format the card to Fat32. If your looking for a good carplay/android car entertainment system I can not recommend this enough *****

Bought this to replace one that came with the car when we purchased and initially I was very pleased with it. My Bluetooth connection still works, however the Apple CarPlay will not connect even though it was doing it before. I have tried multiple times with different phones and leads with Bluetooth connected, as well as trying to forget the device and go into settings both on my phone and on the screen. Overall I am not impressed considering the price of the product as I was hoping to use this as a navigation tool.

Very happy with the radio, does everything you need. Would recommend . Great customer service.

Initially the radio is very easy to set up and works well, I have not yet set up the rear view camera but that looks good out of the box. After some issues arised the customer service was really helpful and quick. I would highly recommend.

Ce poste fonctionne parfaitement, la fonction caméra de recul fonctionne aussi très bien et pour l'installation il faut prévoir de raccorder les prises ISO, l'on peut sélectionner la langue française dans le poste, ce qui n'est pas négligeable

Vorab ist zu sagen, dass das Autoradio für den Preis vieles bietet und vollkommen ok ist. Touchscreen funktioniert gut, Menü ist zweckmässig, Funktionen mehr als ausreichend. Sound kann man über einen Equalizier verbessern wobei die Loudness-Funktion nicht runtergeregelt werden kann. Entweder Voll oder gar nicht. Alles in allem ist das Preis-/Leistungs-technisch top! Das Radio ist in einem Mini-Cooper Cabrio verbaut und die Lautsprecher ab Werk. Einen Vergleich zu Premiumlautsprechern kann ich nicht geben, da die vorhandenen eher Mittelmaß sind. Wer in Software und Klangqualität eher High-End erwartet muss tiefer in die Tasche greifen und zu den bekannten Markenherstellern wechseln. War mir mit 500€+ viel zu teuer. Zum Service: Nach ca 3 Monaten hat der Lautstärkeregler nicht mehr reagiert. Nach kurzem Austausch per Mail mit dem Support, bekam ich das Gerät 1:1 ersetzt. Der Support reagiert schnell und in deutscher Sprache.
