I am at that point where I refuse to purchase anymore Nerf guns. My daughter already has a hockey bag full. She paid for the Accustrike with her own money. That said, I was impressed that it lives up to its claims of accuracy. She hit the spindles on the stair railing from 10 paces (living room is small!) There have been no jamming issues - as long as the special darts are used. Yes, the toy comes with the darts. Anyone else marvel at their very gentle and kind child loving Nerf guns?(Note: I did not rate as “giftable.” That depends on the circumstances in my opinion. But this Nerf gun is just what it claims to be.)

Let me start off by saying AWESOME! This Nerf sniper rifle looks cool, shoots accurately, and shoots far! I personally like the iron sights on this better than any other Nerf gun I've looked down before. I'm going to list pros and cons below.PROS:Looks coolAccurateShoots farHas TWO tactical railsComfortable gripComfortable stockDoesn't take batteriesCONS:Cannot support any Nerf magazinesOnly holds five shotsNow, something that is in between those, the bolt action. The bolt action is super simple and easy to assemble, its just two snaps. I personally love the bolt action and I think it makes it like 1000x cooler. Some people may not like having to cock their gun or pull back a bolt every time and on some guns it can be tedious. I don't know how everyone feels about bolt action, but ask yourself: Do I want to have to keep getting batteries to power a motor to shoot, or can I pull back and let it go (because on this gun it has a spring so it goes back on its own, unlike the crossbolt, a sick crossbow that you have to pull back and forth) which is cool.Side note: This goes really well with this scope, but you will have to aim up a few more inches then you might remember. Bought 2 of these for my 7 year old twins. They LOVE them. Some r very hard for them to operate b/c they take a lot of muscle to pull back & shoot. These r easy for them & they r very well made. NOTE the tabs that snap on to pull the shooting mechanism back r located behind the nerf darts in the packaging. They so not come attached so do not accidently throw them away or gun is useless.

Excellent blaster love the style

It works great! I have two kids who love nerf and they love playing with me. The problem we used to have was we only had two guns but after I got this gun we can all play together. It’s amazing!!

I had this gun for all of 30 mins before I decided it was not worth using. Three stars because it's a great looking Nerf gun, but it misfires way too often to keep. I'm not sure if I got a lemon, but I'm not buying another to find out.The cylinder was failing to rotate at least once about every other loading of the 5 dart drum. That's a terrible stat and is the reason it's getting returned. Also, I'm not sure how successfully an 8 yo would be able to pull back the bolt to fire the gun time and time again as it's not nearly as easy as some of the other Nerf guns I've owned.If you want this gun for cosplay, totally buy it. If you want this gun for a Nerf war, look elsewhere.

Christmas present for nephews. Each got one. I was surprised at the size. Very fun for them. They spent the day playing target practice. Good burst of air gets good range. I can see pulling the slide back, before each shot, can be a bit hard for younger children. Both nephews are 8 and 9. They did well with it.Very happy with the product for the price.
