Really nice set of tins look very nice too

These are great however they are not sealed so aren’t sturdy for carrying and not the best at keeping things fresh. But perfect for short term storage use. Colour however is gorgeous!

Finally!!! A sensible cake tin! Easy to put cake on and use to decorate and then serve, no faffing about trying to transfer from plate to tin. Also sooo much easier than trying to put the cake in the depths of a tin and then put lid on top! Easy to clean with soap and water. They look great as well. This might prove useful - if using to take somewhere pop an elastic band round it to make it extra secure and to avoid score marks from cutting cake I always put some grease proof paper in the base before putting cake on it.

I had been looking for oblong cake tins for quite some time and after finding and ordering the round Mason Cash cake tins I was so impressed with them that I decided to treat myself. They do the job perfectly. Very sturdy and come in two sizes (1lb and 2lb size.) Please note the lids are the ‘bottom’ which the cakes sit on. However not so pleased with the delivery driver. He stated that he handed the order to resident. This definitely was not true. He THREW the order into our parcel box outside of our front door. How could we tell? We have a ring doorbell (which he didn’t bother to ring) which clearly showed his actions. Normally the drivers are very kind and polite but not that young ignorant youth. My husband even went to the front door but he was quite rude and grunted to my husband ‘they’re in the box’. I’m very pleased with the cake tins and highly recommend them. Unfortunately cannot say the same for the delivery.

A attractive set of tins but unfortunately not fit for purpose as the lid on the larger tin hangs loose and is in no way airtight.

These look good but I haven’t found them nor the bread bin to be airtight and bread and cakes go stale very quickly. I also think they are difficult when washed to make sure they are really dry and they will rust. I have found a Pyrex airtight container to fit one of the tins therefore alleviating both problems. I’m still looking for others to fit the bread bin and smaller cake tin. I do like the look of them though and don’t regret buying them.
