These work
These lock tight and don't move. Nice doing deadlifts and collars don't move when weight dropped.

Grips Tightly, Opens/Closes Easily
First purchased a set almost 2 years ago. They worked and lasted so well, I bought another set yesterday. I have dumbells that work with 2" weights. You can turn the dumbbell into a vertical position with a 25 lbs. plate and it holds. Not sure I'd hold them over my head in that position, they do hold.

Quality barbell clamps
After taking several years off from going to the gym, I signed back up in February to get back to living a healthier lifestyle. At the gym I go to, I’ve found that sometimes I have to hunt down a pair of barbell clamps and that can definitely be a real nuisance. I finally said enough is enough and decided to just buy my own reliable clamps for those times when the gym clamps are nowhere to be found. As it turns out, not all clamps are created equal. Through research I have learned that some are made cheaply, others are great at first and then they start to fail, and others tend to outlast all of the others. If one were to decide which clamps are among the best solely by a average overall user reviews, then these clamps would qualify as being very well made.I’ve owned these clamps for only about a month so far. They’ve worked out fine on the times that I’ve needed to use my own. They’re not hard to clamp and unclamp, once you get used how to use them.

Good but not my favorite
Theses are highly rated and good collars. However, I have a cheaper plastic brand that I like better.

Pricey for its purpose, but you get what you pay for
Made of very thick and durable plastic. Lined with a soft rubber material to protect your barbell. Very secure when clamped and no hint of slippage or movement. Tried the base version and much prefer the PRO model. Pricey for a clamp, especially given the cheap spring clamps available, but it won’t scuff or mar your barbell and is far more aesthetically pleasing.
