ACTIVISION Skylanders Giants: Single Character Pack Core Series 2 Fright Rider

Arrived on time and worked perfectly

Was advertised as new and purchased with the understanding that it was new. While the product may in fact be new, it looked at least to be a return as it has been completely opened. Fright Rider's package was taped back together. Both character and card are in the package. This is a present for my son and I hate to give him already-opened gifts. However, as these are getting harder to find this will have to do. My son is an awesome person and it will not matter to him but I don't like it. Since the Skylanders will work through the packaging if placed on the portal I was able to verify that it works and at least reset if they aren't new.

Another undead knight to go with my Sky Knight collection. As long as you level and max figures they will be powerful. Magic Skylanders for whatever reason (with Exception of Spyro and Enigma) are weak in all areas no matter how much I raise them. They can go down in one hit! even the Special (Giant, Swap , Trap Master) Skylanders are weak. Their Special abilities may sound cool but it's nothing If they can not keep up with the other Skylanders base stats.

Product arrived on time in good packaging and works as expected. This character was at the top of my son's list to add to his collection. While it can be a 'costly' investment with all the special editions and such, much like baseball/football cards when I was growing up, I do find a fun and cool spin on video games for kids. It is just a matter of trying to keep it in control....
