Fits properly and works well. Good value for the money.
Very happy with my purchase.Likes:Price was good, and the product is made with high quality materials. Fits on my Buchanan crimping tool without issues and works well. The installation hex wrench was included, so that is a nice touch.Dislikes:- Design-related - The attaching screws are not captive. This is not an issue for me (yet) as I only have one turret. If I have multiple turrets, I will have to come up with a storage solution to ensure the screws don't get separated from the turret.- Functional / quality - The screw threads are a little rough and too loose for my liking, but they DO work properly. This is probably a material / process issue. Making threads in aluminum alloys can be difficult to make reliable, as some alloys are "sticky", and the tap / die does not leave a great finish. It appears the manufacturer may have solved this problem by setting the clearances more to the loose side, so the threads don't jam. This is a nit-pick, and not a big issue at all. The depth setting is easily made, and the locknut holds the setting well, so this is more a matter of personal esthetics than actual function. - Esthetics - I'm not a huge fan of the random splash pattern anodizing, but the coating seems properly applied.Overall:Good value for the money. It mates perfectly with the Buchanan crimper, and presumably, all the other MIL-Spec crimpers designed to fit this family. Esthetics aside, this is a well-made, decent quality tool, and is well worth the money. I would buy it again.Other notes / tips:The standard screw will fit a larger size pin, like a 12, but a size 22 male pin rattles around in it, and it can be a balancing act to crimp these smaller pins with the standard screw. I recommend purchasing a set of alternate threaded screws ( the JReady ST5208 kit; probably linked below if you are looking at this product) to make custom-fitted inserts for smaller diameter pins, and those are good quality as well. I have made two additional positioner screws to match the exact pins I am working with. The depth adjuster screw threads are not lubricated, and adding a light grease improves feel and operation.
