LeafLife Premium Bamboo Tea Tumbler with Infuser for Loose Leaf Tea

The Leaf Life company gets 5 stars for its excellent customer service. The first bamboo tumbler I received from Amazon leaked from the lid and did not retain its heat at all. After one hour it was barely luke warm. Rather than going through the Amazon return/exchange process, I instead tried directly contacting Leaf Life. They responded promptly and sent me a new tumbler. The replacement works perfectly for me, and I am completely satisfied. I like to brew loose herbal teas for an extended time so they will be nice and strong, yet still hot when I’m ready to drink them. After 5 hours in this tumbler, my tea is the perfect temperature for me, and after 8 hours it is still comfortably warm. In the past, I’ve used Zojirushi thermoses, which are still scalding hot after 8 hours. As a result, I have to pour my tea into a separate cup to drink. Not so with the Leaf Life - it’s the perfect temperature to drink directly from the tumbler when I’m ready. I also love the fact that the strainer and the inside of the mug are stainless steel. Though superior in heat retention, the Zojirushi tea infuser tumblers have a non-stick interior and a partially plastic tea strainer. I much prefer stainless steel, which was my primary reason for choosing the Leaf Life tumbler. The straining device itself works great - I love that you can either let the leaves float loose in the water for a long term brew, or put them inside the basket for a short term brew. The tumbler’s bamboo exterior is beautiful and aesthetically pleasing. If I could suggest any improvements to the Leaf Life tumbler, it would be to make the lid more sturdy, which would increase its insulation, and to include a second lid (or offer it separately as an accessory), which would have a travel friendly flip top. It would be nice to have both lid options. Overall, I am very pleased with my new Leaf Life Bamboo Tea Tumbler and use it several times each day.

Perfect size for hot tea. Nice clean and sleek look. Kept my tea hot for 8 hours. The infuser insert is lightweight and easy to pull out of the cup and screw on/off. I love that it has the section for loose leaf, or you can just steep your bag tea right on top. I use this for both type of teas and it works great. This number is also lightweight. So it's easy to toss into my lunch bag or backpack. Doesn't leak.

This is by far by favorite tumbler with a tea infuser & strainer! I've tried many and this wins my heart! It's a versatile piece - I can use it for hot and cold, coffee or tea. Because it's stainless steel walled, there is never any lingering taste from the previous drink. Drinks stay the temperature you want them to ALL DAY and more. The design is minimalist, sleek and simply beautiful. The stainless steel mesh infuser and strainer are perfect for even the finest ground tea and coffee beans. Yes- I've even made my own cold brew and regular hot coffee with this beauty! The tumbler is also perfect for water. The quality is so obviously great all around. I have zero suggestions to improve this tumbler. To top it off, the price point is extremely fair - it's worth every penny of the $18 it costs... It's the best!

this is a gorgeous lil tea tumblr and frankly i adore it. obviously it does not have a great, like, sipping mechanism or anything so you gotta unscrew the lid and put yr mouth on that metal ridge like the cavemen used to. however all things considered this is probably safer. i bought one of those ones where you press a button to make the tea hole open and was just constantly spilling all over myself and looking like a fool. so i am willing to sacrifice some sip luxury for safeness. i think the bamboo outside is very pretty. im a klutz, a real butterfingers, and have dropped this on concrete and whatnot a couple of times and the bamboo gets a little dented up as you would expect a soft wood like bamboo to do. nothing major so far just some small cosmetic damage if u look carefully. the strainer is very comfortable. it fits in the tea thermos. this thermos is a little on the smaller size and does not hold a lot of tea, but, it holds the exact amount of green tea i can stomach before my caffeine sensitivity kicks in. any more and i get the jitters. so if you want to practice some portion control... this could be an advantage for you. when i first took this out of the box it had kind of a... it wasn't a chemical smell exactly, it was just like, a rlly strong new-things smell, but after some washing/use this went away and it now smells permanently like tea. i carry this around campus and hope everyone sees how sophisticated i am for drinking it. but i would probably drink tea out of this anyway even if tea was seen as some kind of nasty degenerative activity. i lost my water bottle and in the week where i was waiting for the new one to come i also used this tea thermos as a water holder. no complaints on the water-holding capabilities except that it is very small.

Looks beautiful! Makes the right amount of yea for me and keeps it warm until I’ve finished it! Love the inserts making tea prep easy and easy to clean!

I have been using the LeafLife Tumbler for awhile now and liked it. Before buying, I’ve read a few bad reviews talking about the LeafLife Tumblr having a metallic smell. As someone working in the stainless-steel industry, I feel the need to speak up for them. It is PERFECTLY NORMAL that S18/8 (#304) stainless steel would have some smell at the beginning. Although it might seem harmful drinking out of something like that, it is really not. In fact, all kitchen stainless steel wares have this. Here’s the fastest way to clean and rid your tumbler or any other stainless steel things of this odor. 1. Fill bottle with water and vinegar and let it sit overnight 2. Pour half liquid away and put a few tablespoons of baking soda into the tumbler. 3. DO NOT SHAKE, just do a tornado slowly. 4. Pour away and use a bottle brush or toothbrush to scrub. Using a stainless steel bottle is in fact the cleanest and safest. I’ve been using stainless steel bottles for the longest time, I’ve tried Klean Kanteen, Hydroflask, Yeti and they were all great. LeafLife Tumbler is not that much different only that it stands out because of the super unique bamboo coat. I actually accidentally dropped it and it cracked on the bottom (picture shown) – from the way it cracked, it’s definitely real bamboo. My heart broke a little but I’m still using it. Insulation properties are comparable to Thermos. However, keeping hot beverages hot for up to 12 hours may be exaggerating. For me, it’s around 6 to 8 hours which is already very impressive. I also noticed it is a little on the heavier side so if weight is a concern for you, it might be best to skip this. I’m loving my tumbler and I would highly recommend this. Very special and great quality.

What a great product, made of good quality. There is thought put into the work of this thermos. Keep up the great work! I love the stainless steel container that you can put your tea. Inside of it actually works amazing invention whoever created such a thing stays hot all day. Super easy to clean.

It's great. It's about two cups of hot or cold tea held in my hand.

It was always hand washed but after only a few uses, the bamboo sleeve got loose. 👎🏻

Parfait pour les adeptes du thé et du café - Le bamboo ne s'est ni fendu, ni craquelé. Il est solide et malgré quelques chutes, aucun accroc sur la bouteille. Points faibles : - Le bouchon est plein à l'intérieur. Je sais qu'en certaines circonstances, il peut etre utile de s'en servir comme récipient et là, c'est impossible. - Peut-être qu'une forme plus ergonomique pour la tenue en main serait appréciable. Les toutes petites mains pourraient avoir des difficultés pour la tenir. En résumé, c'est un bon produit que je recommande, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés et apprécier de bonnes boissons bien chaudes ou bien fraîches pendant longtemps !

This is a great flask!! Lightweight, easy to clean and keeps warm for long. If your a tea lover this is the flask for you!!

The metallic inside was not properly stuck to the bamboo, so it rotates around a bit when opened. Not a deal-breaker but might be annoying to some.
