Terrific product
I love this so much I have it on repeat and I subscribed. Itโs really helped my plants grow by not retaining water. Itโs really easy to use and thereโs plenty of it once absorbed. Feels good to my hands. Iโve never had a problem with them and I will recommend anytime.

Great stuff
I use this product for seed starting. I have been very impressed with it so far - absorbs water quickly, expands to around half of a 4 gallon bucket, great sterile medium, quite fine and uniform, and super convenient to store. Per pound, not the cheapest way to buy coir, but the small blocks were worth it in convenience, especially if you are just doing a flat or two of seeds at a time and don't have a lot of storage space. As far as how well seeds grow, I'm just getting into the season, so can't give definitive answers, but my first couple batches of seeds are up and doing well. I didn't sterilize my pots, so have had some issues with mold growth on the surface if I don't top water. My yellow onion starts have struggled some with damping off - but they always do for me, so I wouldn't blame this medium - but at the same time, it didn't solve it, either. I did mix with a little organic fertilizer as there is really nothing to this stuff as far as nutrients go, and your starts are going to need something to grow on after they're up. I did no fancy treatments, just poured warm tap water on it in a bucket until it was completely expanded and mixed in a little fertilizer. Works for me - I'll buy again.

From a 50-year gardener...
I used this to start Fig cuttings Nov. 24th. Worm castings were added to fertilize roots that developed. I can now say (Feb. '26) that many cuttings did well, some are outstanding. It appears that cuttings approx. 1/2 inch across did the best. I observed great plant growth, health, and vigor. I was impressed at how many cuttings rooted in the Coco Coir. Only 1 block was used, making this a great value, especially if you consider how much young Fig trees sell for. Moisture retention was fantastic. The cuttings were placed in a south-facing window during daylight hours, then moved near a heater vent at night to keep the plant roots, etc. warm. Warm tap water (that was a day old to help remove chlorine) was used every morning to water the cuttings and sprayed on to moisten the young leaves (similar to morning dew). Prior attempts using different potting soils, etc. did not reach this level of success. I'll be using this to start vegetable seeds soon. My best wishes for your gardening success! People might just ask how you did it!

Is does not grow as fast an as much as in the videos. However, it works really well.

Love these
These are awesome! They expand super well and quickly. High quality for a low price. I use them for both my plants and my tarantulas and they work great. They hold water well while still allowing it to drain.

Will be using from now on
This is much better alternative to soil for rooting cuttings. No fungus gnats and doesn't mold as much. I mixed it with perlite and more of my cuttings rooted in it.

Real Deal
REAL COCO COIR!!!

It's good quality but also quite red once wet, so be sure to flush it first.
These are standard sized bricks that do indeed expand to about 9 liters each. I like that they come both individually wrapped and also contained inside of a quality cardboard box. It's an added touch that makes this coco worth buying over the competition. It's easier to store and unlikely to get damaged in shipping. The coir itself is fairly dirty once you add water and it does have a strong smell left over from processing, so it's probably worth flushing the coco until the runoff is decently cleared up. A fabric pot placed in a kitchen sink and flushed with tap water from the faucet (ideally with a sprayer option) is a fast way to clean coir up, and you can see the runoff change from mud to almost clear in no time. The color of this coco is quite red, indicating it might have sat in salt water for longer. While they claim low EC and balanced pH, it's far easier to flush the coir first before using it, just to be on the safe side.

Very bad. Do not buy it.
I can not find proper words to say how bad product it is. All my flowers died . It took all the water and didn't get any water to flowers. If you like your flowers, do not buy it.
