Repeat purchase, love the material it is made out of. Don't hang it by the handle or it might break the handle.
I have purchased this same organizer in the past. (5 total so far) I like them to match and I use black for metric and red for SAE.I like how these come in different configurations for more or less wrenches in a particular set. (not as much wasted space if you are using it on a smaller set for example and order a smaller organizer) Also, the material it is made out of seems ideal for a wrench organizer. It is a softer plastic that is pretty easily bent. When inserting or removing a wrench you really notice this. It is also keeps a pretty good grip on the wrenches. I have some that are more brittle and are harder to deal with. They expect a certain thickness in the wrench for example. These work with thin or thick wrenches in my experience.I would not recommend hanging it from the handle on this style. I did that and after about 6 months the handle broke. (picture attached) To hang it on a wall, use the screw holes on the back of the organizer. The other style that goes from small to big with the handle on the small size didn't break. (it is a shorter handle and can hang that way without breaking) I now keep them in a drawer in my toolbox.I bought 2 to begin with for my normal sized (Craftsman ratcheting) SAE and metric wrenches. Later I bought 2 again for SAE and metric stubby GearWrench wrenches and finally I bought this one that is the perfect size for a very thin set of Stanley metric wrenches I found on clearance at Menards. (The thin set is to work on brake caliper pin bolts to avoid having to use a small vicegrip)

Superior Wrench Organizers
The design of these wrench organizers is far superior to most other types I have encountered for these reasons:1. The handle is sturdy enough to hold the fully loaded rack without problem when carrying.2. The handle can also be folded up to reduce the amount of space required when placed in a tool chest drawer.3. The wrench slots have simple, but effective clips that actually hold the wrenches in place.4. The graduated size of the wrench slots works very well for typical sized sets. Now, you might read through that list and think those seem like obvious features that every wrench organizer should have, and you'd be right, but sadly most fail in at least one if not most of these features. This model work great for the GearWrench 20-Piece Ratcheting Set when paired with the Ernst 5048 Red 10-Wrench Organizer.

Not good for normal wrench sets.
I have three different brands of open end wrenches, two sets of seven and one set of ten, so I ordered (2) - 7 wrench holders and (1) - 10 wrench holder. For two of the sets I own, the model 5081 - 7 wrench holder does not hold anything but the small wrenches, very well. The wrenches need to be pretty thin for the 5081 holder. It holds my Craftsman wrenches until I get to the 5/8" and 3/4" wrenches, they are too thick. The Model 5049 holds most wrenches very well. I think I may return the two 5081 holders and get two more of the ten wrench holders.

Perfect Tool Organizer
These were perfect to organize all my Craftsman wrench sets that had accumulated in my tool box over the years. My adult son had moved out and left his Master Mechanics wrench set (metric and standard) with me for years, and I always grabbed that set when I went to do a job because they came with a handy organizer. Now that he’s moved into a larger place, I returned his wrench set and began looking for something to organize my Craftsman wrenches.I bought 6 of these for the different sets of wrenches, both standard and metric, and they work well. The only problem was that one 7-piece wrench set didn’t include wrenches smaller than 3/8”, so the larger wrenches (11/16” and 3/4”) were too big for the 7-piece holder. This was my error in not reading the product description which gives the proper tool size ranges for each holder. I will need to order the 9-piece holder to properly store that particular 7-wrench set.My advice when ordering these organizers is to make sure each wrench set stays within the range listed in the product description. If you have a wrench set that doesn’t include the smaller wrench sizes (1/4” and 5/16”), then order an large organizer and leave smaller end empty.Great product to organize my tools for a great value. Highly recommended!

Not bad much better than harbor freight
Not the best but much better than similarly priced products. Hold wrenchs well. Currently using 5 of them. 2 are for Blackhawk combination wrenchs. 1 for Blackhawk ratcheting wrenchs. 1 for Blue-Point Ratcheting wrenchs and the last has mix of Craftaman, Mac and Japanese Sears wrenchs. Holds them all securely.

Good wrench organizer
I really like the neatness, visibility of the individual wrenches, and provision for organizing my combination wrenches in a more compact way versus a wrench roll up pouch which I used to have. I also purchased the black reverse organizer which is the perfect complement to the holder being reviewed to cover my metric wrenches. The only draw back for both is as the wrenches increase in size and thickness, they're squeezed too closely together and become a little more difficult to insert. It's not a deal breaker but Ernst should make the openings progressively larger for the larger sized wrenches, and increase the spacing. I should mention my wrenches are S-K and Craftsman. For thinner wrenches this shouldn't be an issue. I marked my overall review down 1 star for the design issue mentioned above.

Makes it easy to organize my tool drawer
Previously, I had all my metric and SAE combination wrenches in a drawer in my tool chest. I attempted to keep them in order laid out on the rubber mat....but every time I pushed the drawer closed they shifted around and ended up in a mess. I bought two of these, one for metric, and one for SAE...and now they stay put and are so much easier to find whatever size I need. They have kind of a rubbery feel, which is what I was hoping, so the wrenches stay where you put them.

Very Space Efficient Good Handle Design
These work pretty well. Not as rigid as some, but they hold the tools snugly and keeps the tools in place. The rubber like material these are made from is soft and flexible enough to accommodate a variety of wrench types and sizes. The "clips" that hold the wrenches in place deform (by design) to hold everything. Looks a little weird but works well.Handles are really innovative in that they can be folded up or underneath the holder to get them out of the way and save space. A worthwhile purchase.

Worth the few dollars over the non-gripper version
Arrived without any damage, appears to be of good quality, and I like the added gripper functionality, that alone makes it worth the few dollars more than the regular version. The hanging holes line up perfectly against a standard pegboard as well. No fitment issues with my 12 piece metric and SAE sets (8-21mm & 1/4-15/16" respectively). Recommended!PS: If you have multiple sets, also buy the reverse layout to make better use of your pegboard space.

Holds all my wrenches firmly.
Fits very nicely in my tool box and holds all my wrenches firmly. I have actually carried this by the handle and none of the tools fell out. I seems well suited to my wrench set and the indexing matches the lengths of the individual wrenches well. It has a very soft feel when inserting and removing the tools. All in all I am very pleased with it. I bought two of these, one red and one black for my metric and imperial wrenches.

its rubber!
super happy and surprised that its rubber! I thought it would be cheap plastic. they are compact in design which is nice too, wrenches fit snugly, they are a little close together, but they all fit (9 through 18mm). For the price, cant be beat!
