One of my favorite movies tbh

Due of its innovative idea, horrifying killings, and excellent performances, The Call is absolutely worthwhile to watch. A serial murderer puts another woman's history and present in danger in order to have control over her own fate while they are living in the same house and are only connected by a phone 20 years apart.I was captivated by this film right away! There is a lot of suspense, tension, and thrill, which kept me interested and watching till the very end. This movie's goal is to create an especially frightful and stressful environment that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats all the way to the finish.

It was a good thriller, fun and exciting to watch. My only problem was the end just came out of left field. I get the writers' temptation to end it this way, but for me, it was beyond the realm of possibility. Still, I recommend it if you have a couple hours to kill and want to watch an exciting movie.

This movie is awesome. Really races your heart. I've seen it like six times on Netflex, then just had to buy it. Its really suspenseful!!

I love Halle Berry in this. Well acted, and certainly makes one think about things, like being aware of one's surroundings, no talking on phone, when walking to car, being alert at all times.This kept me on the edge of my seat, and I've rewatched a couple of times, which isn't something I do, with movies, these days.I recommend this one!

I am not a fan of Halloween type movies, but this one is a good level. Exciting drama.

not my kind of movie but i luv Hallie Berry. the ending is THE BEST!!

Auch wenn mir diese Pseudo Vorzeigemutter Paranoia von Halle Berry mir ziemlich auf den Nerv geht (die letzten Filme waren schon unerträglich), ist dieser Film spannend und auch die Idee ist filmisch gut und die Umsetzung ist unterhaltsam, auch wenn Halle Berry wieder die amerikanischen Kinder über 911 retten will. Da Halle hier aber die Call Assistent spielt, ist dieses Vorzeigemutter Schema hier nicht so dramatisch nervig und hält sich dezent im Hintergrund, auch wenn es vorhanden ist.Daher kann ich die telefonische Jagd von Halle Berry in diesem Fall positiv bewerten, da hier doch die Handlung im Vordergrund steht. Die kleine Jagd über das Telefon nach dem Entführer ist gut gemacht und verleiht dem Film die nötige Spannung.Fazit:Guter Film mit der nötigen Spannung gefällt durch Handlung und durch das dezente Vorzeigemutterverhalten von Halle Berry. Hier stellt sie sich nicht wieder in den Vordergrund, um den Zuschauer mit ihren Gefühlen zu Kindern zu erdrücken, sondern gibt hier der Handlung den filmischen Raum, sich zu entfalten.

this was the second time I saw it. first on dvd then I got the blu ray.great story about the tough jobs of 9-11 operators.and how a bad experience forced her to take matters into her own hands.my wife and I really liked this movie

Ich war sehr positiv überrascht von diesem Film, der im Kino völlig an mir vorübergegangen war. Sehr spannend gemacht, ich habe mich unweigerlich sehr in die beiden Hauptdarstellerinnen hineinversetzt. Die Zeit verging extrem schnell, weil es so gut wie keinen Leerlauf in der Handlung gibt.Negativ fiel mir nur die teils schwachsinnig agierende Polizei auf, aber auch im wirklichen Leben macht diese Fehler und hier führt es zu einem starken und emotional gut nachvollziehbarem Ende.Wer auf mitreißende Thriller steht macht hier nichts falsch!

The first half of this movie is terrifying, just because it's so plausible and could very well (and sadly has, I'm sure) happen in real life.It definitely kept me on the edge of my seat.The last half of this movie was a nail biter and it has a great ending.Definitely a movie full of triggers for some people, though. Just a warning.
