Aozita Boston Cocktail Shaker Set, Bartender Set

I got this set on sale to fill out the bar in my new house, and I love them. It’s got just about everything you need, and comes with a little velour carrying bag. The bag is a bit small and won’t fit everything, but I’ve already taken the shaker, muddler, and jigger/pony combo out to visit friends and relatives that didn’t have bar gear to make cocktails. I can’t say it’s worth full price, and having only had the set a couple weeks I can’t say how sturdy it all is long-term. What I can say is that the wood carrying stand is cute, and stores easily enough on my bar to make it easier to find things, rather than digging through drawers. The pieces all feel good and do the jobs they’re supposed to (at least the ones I’ve used; I haven’t found much need for the ice tongs…yet). The juicer is okay for what it is, but I already have an electric reamer for larger-scale citrus juicing so I default to that for making large batches. For a single cocktail, it’s fine for what it is. It helps to score the fruit first. Overall, I would buy these again at a decent discount from the original retail price, and I would love to get them as a gift. It’s a perfect set for making professional bartender quality cocktails at home, whether you’ve been making variations on IBA standards for years, or just learning the ropes.

I got this as a gift for my boyfriend as a housewarming present for when we moved. He loved it and continues to love it. It looks really good set up and works well. He has no issue cleaning anything and after a few months of having it has held up well and looks and works the same as when we got it. I personally love that it looks good and I love the pick things for garnish, I love using those for unnecessary decor in my drinks. (But I will say be careful, the picks are very sharp, I have poked myself a few times) HIGHLY RECOMMEND (also very proud of myself, while looking for bar sets I didn’t really know what to look for, I am glad I got this one, it has everything you need. My boyfriend has said it would be nice if the jigger had measurements in it. Otherwise it’s great.

It has all you need for a basis cocktail set. The jigger is small though, and I bought a larger one (with wider mouths), but everything else is nice. The bamboo stand is a nice touch, too.

This review is assuming the $40 price point. If it's over $50 I would look elsewhere. The reason I like this kit is that it comes with a very nice juicer which can cost $15-20 on its own. The only unnecessary thing in this kit is the ice thongs. I would have given it 5 stars if the jigger had internal measurements down to 0.25oz and a longer barspoon with a weighted end. You can get those for about $10-15 though. I would also appreciate if it came with a lemon peeler (<5). Aside from that I consider this kit to be basically perfect at a very competitive price. Everything is built very well. I see no reason everything here won't last for years. It would be an excellent gift for someone interested in cocktails or for a 21st birthday. 8.5/10 -would recommend (<$50)
