I've used a silk Alaska Bear eye mask for sleeping for years and haven't found another brand that I love as much. Why? Because I can throw it in the washing machine with my regular laundry once a week and it always comes out looking like new (I always wash on warm, dry on delicate). This pillowcase is exactly the same! I received the pillowcase, threw it in the washer with my whites, washed on normal/warm with cold rinse (regular old Persil or Tide detergent and some Downy softener), dried it on delicate, and it came out just as nice as my eye masks. So soft and buttery silky smooth...it's absolutely lovely. I ordered the standard size with a zipper closure and it fits snugly and securely over my foam contoured pillow. The construction and quality is excellent.

Wanted to wait a bit before I commented and after nearly two months and two washes, I must say these are very nice satin pillowcases. I have locs so it’s crucial that I keep my hair covered, but that’s a thing of the past because I can rest easily knowing that these pillowcases don’t damage my hair. My faces feels cleaner and looks clearer and I sleep much more peacefully because I’m not waking up to find a cold spot on the pillow; they stay cool throughout the night.

I purchased this pillowcase and I absolutely love it, it is well made, very comfortable to use, great for your hair! I would not recommend drying it or using software with it that way it will last longer but I do highly recommend this product!

This pillowcase is very nice, much softer than other brands I tried. I knocked off one star because the picture shows a hair scrunchie that doesn't come with the pillowcase so the picture is misleading.

cool and soft with sturdy zipper i no longer have to hunt for the pillowcase in bed the next morning to redo it and its super breathable and cool even after laying on it for a bit.

These are amazing... they've been used daily for almost 18 months and are still in near-new condition. Very well made, sturdy, wear incredibly well, machine wash and dry beautifully (I do everything on cold), and are so comfortable to sleep on. No zipper issues or problems with seams ripping or fraying, wrinkling or staining. It was so hard to shop for silk pillowcases... confusing claims, reviews all over the map, meaningless ratings, crazy pricing, just complete overload. Somehow I managed to decide on these very reasonably-priced ones, and I continue to be amazed by their quality and longetivity. My skin and fine hair love sleeping on them. Thank you Alaska Bear!

Comfortable, soft, and reasonably priced. Had this pillow case before and found that it kept my hair from tangling at night. Also felt that it improved my facial skin.

Bought one for my teenage son, he loves it. Then my adult daughter and myself, and now this for my travel pillow. Definitely helps my sleep, since it stays smooth during the night. It’s a nice sturdy quality and well worth the price. I have dust allergies, and it helps with that too!

This is amazing ,it is cool ,soft and will keep your hair and skin in perfect condition .I am so pleased with this and glad I purchased two .Well worth the money and great packaging for a gift too .Highly recommend if you sleep on your front .

The media could not be loaded. It's a good product and is not as slippery as satin. You can pay around $10 for a satin pillowcase that will work well for your skin and hair, but the comfort from the silk of course is way better for me. I wash it by hand and let it dry hanging on a hanger, don't think it will be resistant to the washing and dryer machines.
