Can’t really give a true rating
I can’t genuinely rate this product as I misunderstood what it was. I was trying to convert an ethernet port to an extra usb-A port, and didn’t read for details. It tells you this is not how it works, and is meant to connect to usb routers. I unfortunately did not realize that, so I have no clue if it works or not. Probably works good for it’s intended purpose.

Not a data converter
Some ADSL modems have an RJ45 jack that provides both Ethernet (on 4 wires) and USB (on 4 wires). This adapter taps off the USB signal by merely connecting the 4 USB wires to the USB connector (see photo). There is no IC in it so it does not do protocol conversion (USB to Ethernet). It is strictly a physical adapter, not a data converter. Both of your devices must support USB for this to work.
