Convenience Concepts Tucson Deluxe Console Table with Shelf, Weathered Gray/Black

I bought this table because it fit some very specific measurement criteria I was looking for. It could be from 45-48" in length, absolutely had to be 9" in width, and no shorter than 28" but preferably 30-32" in height. This table fit all my requirements and was reasonably priced. I was ecstatic, even given some of the negative reviews. I figured any problens, chipped bits, or difficulty building would be nothing compared to when I thought I'd have to end up building a table from scratch (not exactly in my skill set) because I didn't have high hopes of finding a table to fit such specific and narrow dimensions. I read the reviews and no one said anything about the dimensions being off, and I figured "hey, it's cheap furniture, it might be off by an inch and that's crappy but kinda part of the territory." But I certainly didn't expect tart the table would be A WHOLE 6.5" SHORTER THAN THEY CLAIMED! This changes everything. I would have never bought this if I'd known. I spent over 2 hours putting the damn thing together because it kept turning out wobbly and its not even the dimensions they advertise.

The media could not be loaded.  I had a little help with my brother to build the table since I’m not very handy dandy. (Took about 30-40mins). I used my own tools because the “Allen wrench” that was provided was going to take us hours to screw everything. ALSO ..skip the gluing that was provided in the instructions (you don’t need it) that I bought it purposely to be a TV stand rather then a console table. I have a ikea daybed and needs room to pull out. I love this table because it’s slim but sturdy and best of all its white. It’s so hard to find a white slim, tall modern console table on amazon (at least to my taste and budget). It took me months to decide on this one. I needed a table that can hold: my tv, printer, router, echo show, PS4 and the accessories, air filter and my Apple Watch. I was a little hesitant reading the reviews but I love it. It comes with everything you need and it was packaged well.

I love the product but I only gave it 3 stars because it was slightly damaged when it was received and I was going to deal with it but then when putting it together I then realized that I didn’t have all the peices to even build it. So I had to return it which was annoying but I ended up getting a replacement and that was packaged perfect. After all of that I am pleased with the final product.

Pages 5 & 6 of instructions not included...Saturday, although they report to have a 24/7 support line, only available M-F 9-4 cst.I am stuck with a half built table sitting in my basement...Website does not have any link to instructions, cannot reach customer support, I would rate this companies product support “E” as in fail. Ask me if I’ll ever purchase something from “Convenience Concepts” again...here is a concept, have customer support available as advertised, at least Saturday hours, not to mention being Inconvenient...

The console table is exactly 5 inches shorter than the 30.5 inches stated for height in the dimensions. I’m glad I realized this before I put the entire thing together.

So there was a comment from someone who says it’s 6’ shorter then advertised and that got me very paranoid because I also measured for perfection. I haven’t measured with my tape measurer cause I don’t REALLY want to know but my chairs are 32’ high and it SEEMS only a couple inches shorter so I’m satisfied with that. I’ll add that the base screws are the kind semi adjustable for height. U can screw them in all the way shorter or screw them in less for height but no fantastical differences. I’ll say the assembly instructions were missing 2 pages (so Yes that can happen to regular people apparently. First time for me) but I looked up the instructions online and found them easily. Even with all the pages, there not very thorough or detailed but whatever, I’m not stupid, I figured it out and fixed what I had to the second unscrewing around with no real difficulty. If you like the look there isn’t much else to say. Nice console table and decently made. Go for it with no regrets if u like the style and measurements.

Item looks good and fairly sturdy. It would have been easier to assemble if there were directions. I could figure it out but it was a bit of trial and error but using common sense it worked. There were some parts missing (screws and such) so it would have been much sturdier if I had all the parts to ensure the item was put together will ALL screws. The packaging is really the problem. It is very poorly a packed. When I opened the main box, I found screws outside the item packaged which probably accounts for missing parts in delivery. The package was filled with broken Styrofoam so you have to thoroughly clean the space after assembly and also the table since it has a fine coat of powder and Styrofoam all over it. Very environmentally and medically unhealthy! The main box with the parts itself and screws and other parts all over (embedded in Styrofoam, in between metal shelf pieces, rolling around loose). Be careful when unpacking and putting it together so you can find all parts. It was in a vacuum pack style package but not sure why not in a cardboard box and taped down to minimize damage of product. I would recommend the manufactures redo the packaging and include directions so buyer is not so annoyed and frustrated when trying to put it together since once together, it seems sturdy and looks very nice.

The table is so nice!It took me about 20mins to build but we’ll worth it. The table is modern looking and great for filling in a smaller empty space in your house. I would highly recommend.
