I designed a coffee gift set of different coffees for my supervisor using this coffee and a bunch of other coffees. My supervisor loved the gift set.He said this coffee is delicious.He said it was smooth and bold. It wasn't overly strong. And it smelled great.

I make coffee in a stainless steel camping French press. 28 ounces. It's just as much work as any other method except maybe the KCup. That said, coffee in the bag sells for some extravagant $$$. And in the final analysis it's still just coffee. I've been through the grinding and brewing deal for a while, and it's just too much. This is already ground. My coffee friends find buying already-ground coffee abhorrent. This coffee? It's ground and it tastes great . And it's cheap too! What's not to like?

Good dark coffee. A solid choice for basic dark. I like my coffee black, strong, chewy, bold. This doesnt quite hit that mark for me. I had a feeling when I first opened it and took a whiff that it was going to fall short of what I was hoping for. Has a hint of tang which should not be there. Overall I like it, and have put it on subscribe and save because at the moment it is quite cheap. However I will keep looking. I basically bought it as an impulse purchase.

A few years ago, back during the COVID Saga, while I was perusing the coffee isle of my local grocery store, I came across a small 10 ounce black and purple coffee canister. It was a type of coffee produced by Folgers under the line of NOIR: Smoky Midnight. I thought the container looked cool, so I purchased the coffee. I drink coffee straight, no cream, sugar, or any other additives. Upon my first sip of that coffee, I was immediately blown away with how smooth it was. No bitterness. I don't like bitter coffee. A second or two after that first sip, I got the intense flavor of smoke. I had never encountered the "smoke" flavor in coffee before. At that point, it was clear that I was in love. That was my favorite coffee for two years, although more expensive than I would have wished, until Folgers decided to end production of that product line. I was sad, distraught really. I immediately went searching for a coffee that had any resemblance to my beloved "NOIR: Smoky Midnight." Alas, my search failed. After two years, I had given up.Fast forward to last week, now in the Post COVID Saga, I was bored so I was perusing through various items on the Amazon iPhone app. I wasn't looking to purchase anything; I was just passing some time. As I was scrolling, I came across a picture of a coffee bag in a black and crimson red package. It sparked my interest, so I opened up the description. Many customers noted that it was very smooth. I did what 67% of Americans do; I fell into the pit of impulse buying. Let me tell you, I'm glad Amazon put that pit in my path, because this is what I was missing. Community Coffee Dark & Bold: Espresso Roast tastes almost exactly like Folgers NOIR: Smoky Midnight. The price is similar. The taste is spot on. If I was a professional coffee tester, I would say this stuff is certified: smokified.Community Coffee Dark & Bold: Espresso Roast is my new favorite coffee.

My husband and I love our coffee and are always down to try a new kind and this one did not disappoint. It taste great and we paid a great price

I will not buy this again. It has a very deep French roast flavor. It is not bitter but I do not like French roast. I thought it would be more like an Italian roast flavor, more mellow.

This coffee was a surprise find, and it really has a great flavor and good pick me up to the morning.

Very smooth and very rich taste. Very fragrant when brewing.
