This is working out great for my larger aero garden plants. But, I did not like the coco noir supplied with it. After hydrating it leaves a dirty stain on roots. I bought some already hydrated, dry and loose, strand like coco filler and it worked great. You do have to keep top of plant a bit above water level so top of root gets air. I got the hang of it quickly

I ordered 2 and they both leaked as soon as I put water in them! One leaked from the side and the other from the bottom. Because they were otherwise perfect for my needs, I was able to cover the holes with flex seal tape (a great product).

Bought 2. Both look good with no visible cracks. I have the 1st one running with some Brussel Sprouts in there. I'm using Pon with a bubbler and some air stones.

I bought this item as a Christmas gift for my Brother in law who has everything. He loves to start his garden in the winter by growing seeds in his house starting in February. We also bought the lamp as well. He has told me many times how it does not take up much space in his dining room. I think he will be investing in more on his own.

Well, I should have know better, this container is as cheap as they get. First I had to seal up 2 leaks before the first fill, then when I put 4 gals of water in if the container it cracked and leak at the bottom. It can't hold the weight of the water. It's so thin plastic it's junk

Overall, I like this product and it has served me well as a basis for my hydroponics system. I especially like the size and the removable mesh pots that make maintenance easy. That said, it does have some flaws that buyers should be aware of. Most importantly, it does appear that the "sealed" hydroponics version of this product is essentially the same as the regular product with the drain holes plugged with some silicone. This seal will hold for a while but mine did eventually break and need to be resealed - a process that required draining and drying the system and buying and applying new silicone. Needless to say, this was not a fun process and is one I recommend new buyers perform immediately instead of after a leak occurs. Additionally, the lid does fit rather loosely and some climbing plants like mint will work their way out through the cracks. In the end, despite its flaws, I haven't seen a product of this size and flexibility that would work better for my application.

Love this product. I will probably order another one. It has been one week since I planted vegetables in it, and they are already growing. Amazing.

I intended to begin a hydroponic grow for our salad lettuce. First one I received looked just fine, clear instructions say to fill with water to the top of the curved section on wall. In trying to fill this I saw water on the floor, thought it had splashed. realized that it was leaking. Went through the hassle of returning that one, to receive a new one with the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. I am going to find a better hydro starter kit. Very disappointed and feeling that I have wasted a lot of time and energy. Meanwhile my starter seedlings are dying as I don't have a medium prepared for them to go into.
