I got this in order to help a ground loop with a dac. It mostly solved the issue although I can still sort of hear a hum maybe 90% of the hum removed, might not be the issue of the optical cable. The dac is sdac-balanced from Drop.I could only get up to 24bit 96khz working but again probably not this cable.

Simple solution, great connection for home audio system. Pricing was decent and my soundbar has never worked or sounded better.

Like that the cable is clear and very little noticeable super thrilled about it

Just a heads up, this is 12 feet long, I thought I bought a 3 footer... unit works fine, I like the fact it has 2 adapters so I can use it in my laptop with my turtle beech wireless adapter. wish they had the length labeled somewhere
