Q: Will this paper absorb inkjet color ink and if so, will the color appear well on the paper?

I tried it with my inkjet printer and the color was faint. However, it worked perfectly with my laserjet printer.

Q: Would this work for a card base & will the white core show when scoring?

Yes it definitely works for a card base and I don't believe the white will show when scoring (however I have not tried it yet). I found it to be more yellowish than gold

Q: Does this paper work well with Laser printers / photocopy machines?

It works well with a photo copier...I had staples copy a booklet cover using this paper and it turned out great.

Q: Will this cardstock work with a copy machine?

With a home printer, absolutely. Now with a copy machine I don't know.
