Marginal results on metal
I think this probably works well for some applications, but it wasn't a durable finish in metal. I have previously used Guildar's wax (no I'm not paid to say that) and tried this as an alternative because of the many metallic colors offered by DecoArt. For my application I apply this to stainless steel. Guildar's wax adheres incredibly well and achieves expected color without much build up required. DecoArt product is required a pretty thick build up to achieve a the expected color (probably because of the metallic content). Problem is that build up is then easy easy to scrape off. Since it didn't work well on metal I did use some to infill some engraved lettering in wood and it worked well for that application, though I'd say metallic paint would work better (but messier).

Cette sire que j'ai employé sur la flamme au dessus d'une peinture acrylique bronze, donne une vraie dimension aux flammes.Je recommande cette marque, car j'ai d'autres cires qui ne tiennent pas aussi bien.

Lovely for frosting effects, such as fairy wings, as well as xmas style projects. Applied with a fingertip, wet wipe or fine applicator - the soft paper 'pencils' which come in several thicknesses - it can be made to cover or add fine detail. Wipes off fingers easily with water or wet wipe & a very little goes a very long way, making it economical to use. I adore all these Metallic lustres & use them a LOT!

Dissatisfied with product
I have tried to find a number to speak about my complaint... I have bought 7 of this product in various colours... Unfortunately I upon opening them they are dry and unusable.. I am therefor very unhappy with the quality.. I would like a refund and an explanation why they are solid as they were stored properly sorry I have had this experienceYour sincerely Corrinne Castle
