CESSXLR to 3.5mm Stereo Audio Adapter - Connects iPhone, iPad, or Other 3.5mm Devices to Powered Speakers

These are great adapters. I use the female XLR adapters on my individual channel outputs on my Maxim MDS-1000 drum synthesizer. I then plug them into my male XLR adapters that are plugged into my mixer. I then plug a balanced TRS 3.5mm cable between the two; a non-balanced patch cable will not work. I plug 3.5mm cables from my Arturia DrumBrute to the male XLR cable adapters plugged into my individual channel inputs of the drum machine.I also like using the male version XLR adapters with my Korg Volcas plugged into the XLR inputs of my mixer.These are handy and inexpensive little utilities for your set up.

I bought these to help me with a lighting show that I was running timecode through. I used these as a way to get my music from the computer, to the Front of House console. They worked good for what I needed them to do, a little tight on the 3.5mm jack though. The thing that I'm taking points off for is that even though this is listed as a stereo adapter, it is actually in fact a mono signal through the adapter.

The only drawback I had was that the fit for the 3.5mm connection was extremely tight. I felt like I had to apply too much pressure get the plug in then had to use pliers to carefully get it out.

Does what was designed for; used for audio work.

Solid b build and perfect solution for my situation! Worth every penny!

Don't buy. 1/8" hole too small. I forced the plug end of my in-ears cable into the adapter hole since we needed to play the gig. When I tried to pull out the plug, it wouldn't come out and I ended up pulling the wires out of my expensive Westone in-ear monitors plug-end. Spend more to get better quality!

Very tight connectors which i like a lot sound is transparent and material is good. Recommended
