MCIGICM (100 Pcs) 5mm LED Light Diodes, LED Circuit Assorted Kit for Science Project Experiment (Multi-Colored - 5 Color)

I have used these LEDs in many projects and all have worked well. They are bright, the positive lead is clearly longer, they mount securely when pushed into a properly sized hole and glued, and the color variety is helpful. I have used them in Bravo Box I designed that plays encouraging sounds, in a Christmas tree with electricity from a dynamo powered by a toy steam engine, and in greeting cards that light up when you press on the front of the card. The voltage required to light depends on the color. The white and blue can be directly lit without a resistor with CR2032 3 Volt batteries.

I needed these for a weird application but they work well and cost next to nothing.

My kids do a lot of electronics projects for 4H and engineering classes. These are good, bright LEDs. There are enough different colors that they can hook up lights for different outcomes.

As described and works good

I got all 100 LED's 1 x Red did not work, it died DOA. 4 x Yellow LED died because I burnt them out, I didn't have resistors at the time but after getting resistors and testing they seemed to work just fine. I suspect the red was my fault to for not having the correct resistance in place. Overall I'm happy with the product at this price point it was worth it.
