Keep your expectations low
They are good but it emits a lot of light at the plug. Protected images are ok.

Happy kiddo
Bought this as a way to help my indecisive child choose a theme for their space. Being able to swap between the solar system and animals is a huge bonus. This has helped bedtime so much!

Projector is good but globe too bright
The guide light/blue globe is too bright and too blue, like having a TV screen on. The room needs to be darker for the kids to fall asleep. I wish it was just the projector without the blue guide light.

Fun nightlight for kids who love space, provides decent illumination, but needs manual on/off switch
As other reviewers comment, it's unfortunate that the size of the projection on the ceiling is not larger. However, other than that, it is performing great as a nightlight for my daughter thus far. She has quite the infatuation with space and all things space related these days, so this was an obvious choice to help her with her fear of sleeping in total darkness, and should help save money for me over her previous tendency to get up and turn her light on and leave it on all night. Not only does the projection on the ceiling add light to the room, but the blue ball itself glows quite nicely to illuminate the room.I haven't had this long enough to speak to the longevity of the projection printing as others have stated them being prone to fading. If that does happen, I will come back and update my review.My only negative is that there is no way to turn the nightlight off. So, it is always on when the light in the room is off (it uses a photosensitive switch to automatically turn on and off as needed) unless you go to the trouble unplug it from the wall, or happen to have a free, optimally located switched outlet to use it with. I have considered attaching an inline timer to make it have power only during nighttime hours, but that hardly seemed worth it for the cost of the nightlight its minuscule power requirements.

Area in front of outlet needs to be clear.
Didn't realize that it requires being plugged directly into the wall. My sons desk is in front of the only outlet in his room so I could t use this, as the area needs to be clear in front of said outlet in order for it to project. Otherwise it was bright and cool. And it's inconvenient that there are no on/off buttons. You have to fully unplug every morning

Disappointed that the images do not rotate automatically. The images aren’t very clear.
