Columbian #10 Business Envelopes, Left Window, 4-1/8 x 9-1/2 Inch, 500 Per Box, White (CO170)

My father, George, owns a business. There was a promotion on these envelopes, one per customer. We needed a total of two boxes anyway, and while these aren't perhaps the best quality envelopes, they do the job well enough for a good price. Our accounting and administration staff are content with them. They are a decent product. Our company had actually purchased them a couple of times before.Know how when you go to the supermarket and there is a one per customer promotion? If you have two people, there are two customers. Not in this case. One was ordered under his account and another mine. And Amazon messaged me saying that I violated their terms and conditions and that the order from my account would be cancelled. I told them to look us up. We are extremely easy to find online in a world of Facebook and LinkedIn. Plus, I'm sure they can see our past orders. When one person orders products for men and equipment and the other buys beauty products and foods, it's easy to see they aren't the same customer. The requirement was only "One per customer."The quality of these envelopes is there, but the customer service is sorely lacking. I'd imagine Amazon has something automated where if an order comes from the same location or goes to the same place, they assume it is someone with multiple accounts. But, in their cancellation notification email, they ask the customer to send an explanation if this is wrong. And when you do, they ignore it. Just note that if you own a business or live in a home and multiple members of your staff or family, multiple customers, place an order during a one-per-customer promotional time, only one of you may successfully get the product.*This review was written by Renee Kinnison. When they cancel your order, it completely disappears as if nothing had ever been ordered.

Like so many others that have reviewed this item, I ordered these envelopes with the single envelopes for sending monthly billing statements. I was concerned about the gum on the flap and I am not sure if the problems mentioned below were a momentary problem, but the envelopes we received are just fine. It is not the stickiest glue ever, but it does close the flap securely to the envelope. The measurements of the window's placement on the envelope are exactly as described in the product. We measured it. We use these in connection with a billing program called Timeslips and the envelopes work perfectly with the standard bills that are generated by that program. The paper quality of the envelopes is pretty standard - not very think and it is not safety paper, but think enough to do the job.

I mail something out in these envelopes at least once a day with my business. When using window envelopes it matters where the window is positioned. whenever I buy envelopes I have to be certain that the window is always in the same place. Of course right? Those who regularly use them already know this. But if you are new to the window game, you need to pick an envelope and stick with it because you will then need to adjust all of the regular documents you send out so the address is positioned (after you fold the paper) right smack in the middle of the window.One more positive about this product is that the seal works very well.

These envelopes are a little thin so you may have to fold the paper backwards or add something to cover something sensitive. The glue is not the best and you can't use a lot of water to seal them, so I just use tape. However, for the price for those looking for bulk mailing there is nothing better and the more expensive ones are not wort the money.

THIS IS THE SAME ENVELOPE BRAND I USED TO GET AT OFFICE MAX. WORKS FINE. SOME COMPLAINED OF NOT ENOUGH GLUE TO SEAL ENVELOPE BUT IT NO WORSE THAN ANY OTHERS I HAVE USED IN THE OFFICE THE LAST 20YRS. WOULD BUY AGAIN.

We needed a box of envelopes for cheap, and this fit the bill. There weren't terrible issues, but some envelopes were stuck together at the edges. The gum on the flap is the stingiest I've ever seen--I had to pay a lot of attention to getting these sealed. The paper is pretty thin, but not excessively so. These are budget envelopes, but they're good value for money.

some of the envelopes were missing glue on the sides of the envelope but just a little scotch tape took care of that. i like the size and have bought this before so i know its consistent.

Not much to say other than these were exactly what I expected. They were about $5 cheaper on Amazon than my local office supplies store. I've been using these for years with no complaints. Some of the other people in my office complain about the glue taste but it doesn't bother me, taste just like any envelope. The adhesive sticks well and also works well with a envelope wetter/sealer if you have one.
