My home is an RV. Recently I was at a campground when the power went out. Since the campground is on well water they shut it down and turned it back on the next day when power was restored. As feared, the well sent a blast of mud though the pipes and into my filter. When I inspected the filter there was muddy water at its center but the outer filter was clean. None of the bad stuff got through. I use this filter between the campground water outlet and a portable water softener to feed the softener with clean water and another as my whole RV interior filter. I normally change this filter every six months even though water pressure through the filter still is good. Needless to say I will continue to use only this filter with my RV.

Purchased my second set of Whole House filter cartridges after trying many name and generic brands. These last a full three months before a reduction in water pressure. I am also happy they are Made in the USA.

Waterside home with private well, long plagued with sulfur odor especially in hot water. This filter replaced a sediment filter preceding a softener. Odor disappeared instantly in cold water, hot water after about an hour. Highly recommend!

I use this as a prefilter to a water softener. My water used to have a strange smell but after using this water filter the smell has gone away.

I installed this filter on Friday November 29th and it completely clogged three sinks and ruined a toilet valve. I turned on the laundry sink and no water came out then went to the bathroom sink and no water came out then I turned on the kitchen sink and no water came out then I turned on the water to the bathtub and a lot of black sediment came out which is shown in the picture. Long story short is that I spent Black Friday for about 5 hours flushing the lines, driving to ACE hardware getting a new toilet valve, and I also had to replace the shut off values to each sink since I turned them off they started to have a small leak so I replaced them with quarter turn valves. My mother lives very far from the the closest place she could get another filter and drove 75 miles round trip just to get one so I could replace it. Lucky that I am a professional handyman and could do this job but my day after Thanksgiving was ruined and my mother was very stressed.

This filter works great. Removed the chlorine taste of municipal water. Doesn't diminish the pressure throughout the house.
