Kitchen Faucet Replacement Hose Pull Down Pull Out

I, like many other reviewers, have a Kraus kitchen faucet whose hose decided to die yesterday. Water spraying out of the crimp point for the head adaptor. Toast. Boy did Amazon Prime+this item save the day. Ordered yesterday afternoon, arrived 8:30 AM this morning, installed by 9:00 AM.The silver head of this hose (where you screw your faucet head on) was matte silver. It has a nice rubber ring to catch the faucet support. My original faucet head is polished silver, so I just pulled the one off the old hose, threaded it on here and it looks original. Install was a breeze.

My kitchen faucet is made from mystery hardware from a previous resident. So, when my sprayer hose broke I checked at 5 local hardware stores, 2 specialty plumbing shops, tried a hail mary from the internet, and nobody had the part I needed. I tried a few hoses/adapter kits that didn’t work, and even found a band new $110 fixture for $20 that didn’t fit under the cabinetry. Finding this part saved me my sanity and having to pay for maintenance ❤️

I replaced the crappy hose that came with my kraus faucet, which sprang a leak randomly. The important part of this is that the end that connects to the water supply is not wider than the hose itself. That means it will fit through the oddly shaped/narrow tube that contains it. The quick connect is plastic, sure, but seems good enough to last. A little teflon on the thread and no leaks. I was really worried I’d have to buy a whole new faucet for just the obscure hose replacement. Glad I came across this.

I usually don’t write reviews, but finding this replacement was a pain! So I have a vintage 2012 Kraus sink and faucet combo. The faucet is KPF-1612. The hose decided to spring a leak while we did the dishes this past Thanksgiving. Great timing! After Amazon sent the right hose, it was easy to install. Push up on the white quick adapter to release it, pull the old one up and through the hole. Save the original parts as the threaded part for the sprayer that came with the new hose was matte and I need shiny. To reinstall you might need to go under the sink and pull the hot and cold supply lines slightly forward to get the male quick connect end down through the single faucet handle. It is tight! A push on the quick connect and a twist of the sprayer and I was back in business. I didn’t install the counter weight as the new hose is shorter than the OEM. So, yes this fits a Kraus with a quick connect on one end and a flange to accept the threaded end on the other. I bought a back up and we will see how long this one lasts.

Worked like a charm as a replacement

We have an off brand kitchen faucet and it was leaking. I thought I would have to replace the whole things but Amazon came to the rescue. It was easy to install and it works great.
