I wanted a sort of spot light on my little nativity scene on the shelf and looked for quite awhile before finding these gems. Mounted one above the scene and sat another behind it. Self adhesive if you need it, battery operated, supposed to last ten hours but I didn’t turn these push button lights on except at night so I can’t say how long they will last. Put a couple in strategic places for Christmas. Great idea and very useful.

Not for purpose intended

I place two of these lights in each lid of my three motorcycle hard cases. One gets used, the other is only a backup for when a battery eventually dies. Used two riding seasons, I've traveled over 53,000 miles on the original batteries. I camp most of the time, but these lights are only see brief when looking in a case at night. They take up almost no space, and 5 held in place up to 105F and winter storage at down to -10F. Just one came unstuck from it's lid. Probably due to my forcing the lid closed and jamming something against it. Thousands of miles on gravel roads in Alaska and Northern Canada, certainly not an easy life for them.Liked these so much I recently ordered a third set. The extras from my first order went into my wife's bike. Now that I understand how great they are for this purpose, I want to ensure I have spares.When placed correctly in the lids, I have no direct light glare and they shine down into the top loading cases. One of these buttons provides the perfect amount of light to perfectly illuminate a suitcase sized area, without being overly bright. Too many people buy the brightest light available, then sit around a campfire blinding everyone with their headlamps. These offer a sane amount of light for many brief use cases.Personally I wouldn't use them for longer duration cases like reading. The small battery cell is just not economical for long sessions. For hiking, cooking or reading use cases a single AA LED flashlight on low with a diffusion cover makes far more sense.

The light is excellent, but the adhesive does not stick. I took the advice of other reviewers and purchased double sided tape, which has worked out for me.

These lights are so bright one lite up my small closet so I can see everything in it. Also my grandson is building an iron man costume and said these will work for his hands.
