Strong trays, a good size to hold plant pots or smaller trays of seedlings.

While I have not used these yet, as I bought them in preparation for next spring, they are much heavier and durable than anything you can find at Home depot, Lowes or our local farm coop. Looking forward to putting them to good use.

I just got this 10‑pack of Yield Lab 10×20″ black propagation trays, and they’re already proving super useful. The size is perfect for my clone/seedlings bench, big enough for lots of cuttings, but still manageable to move around. According to the listing they’re “lightweight, easy to use, designed for clones, cuttings and seedlings” which is exactly how I’m using them. What I’m digging: The plastic feels sturdy: These trays don’t flex much under load, so I’m confident they’ll handle soil + water + roots without collapsing. Good dimensions: The 10×20 size (shown as 10 × 20.75″ in some specs) fits nicely on my propagation shelf. No drain holes (in this version) which means I can use them for hydro or as drip trays when needed. Great value for the quantity: 10 trays is a lot for the price, sets me up for a while. Any small downsides: Because there are no drain holes, you’ll need to monitor standing water if you use them with media that retains a lot of moisture, maybe add a slight slope or make your own drainage. If you’re after ultra‑shallow trays or cell‑style propagation, you might want additional inserts or trays with divisions (these are flat/flats). They’re black which is fine for me, but if you like lighter trays (for root visibility) this might be a trade‑off. Bottom Line: If you’re doing cloning, seedlings, or even microgreens and need a solid flat tray to hold soil or growing medium, this Yield Lab 10×20 tray set is a smart choice. Durable build, good size, multi‑use (soil, hydro, propagation), definitely recommending it.

A first they seemed a little flimsy, but these trays hold 15 of some larger 4" square pots that I was having trouble fitting into a different style of 1020 trays. So I will purchase more for the 4" square pots.
