Doesn't hold a charge. You have to keep it on the charger constantly or the battery will die within a day. The charger also isn't compatible with other lights of the same brand, which is really irritating. The light is bright and the unit is compact and fairly lightweight, however.

Very good hand held spot light
Very good hand held spot light. It holds a charge quite well and is quite bright. I use it on my pontoon boat and it performs just fine.

Really liked the light but it just did not work
Really liked the light but it just did not work. Would not charge. I returned the light and GSM was good about crediting my account. Very disappointed but not willing to get another one.

Not sure if I can return it
I bought one a couple of months ago, it works great, so I ordered a second one,Charged it for 8hrs as directed, but unfortunately this one doesn’t work, it works for 5secons flashing light and then dies. One out of two is not a good average at all.What’s frustrating is that I try to return it, I get a message that hazardous material cannot be returned to Amazon and should be disposed according to local laws, I am not sure if this is a system error or I can’t return it. Anyways it’s all frustrating and disappointing.

So far it's GREAT. Arrived all in tack
So far it's GREAT. Arrived all in tack, took initial 8hr charged (pilot charging lights are a nice feature). Ran it down after using it and it charged right back up and seems to hold charge. I must say it reaches out father then I expected with red lens on. Hopefully it will take some coyotes. You take the red lens off and it will light up the world. This is priced right. Hope it will last!!

Don't do like me and think you are getting a better or ...
Stay away from the Cyclops 700, I have had 3 of these and all have battery issues.All 3 will not stay charged and when charged its not as bright as the Cyclops 500. I have aCyclops 500 that I have never had problems with. So save yourself a lot of trouble and buya Cyclops 500. Don't do like me and think you are getting a better or brighter light with the 700YOU WILL BE MAKING A MISTAKE.
