| Product Care Instructions | With pump running, add product slowly through skimmer or in front of any other suction intake. After adding, adjust suction to main drain. If this is not possible, use a vacuum cleaner instead. Stir the product back into suspension every 4-6 hours during water circulation. After the leak has stopped, allow proper time for curing (24-48 hours) before resuming normal filtration. For sand filters, set the filter valve to 'filter' and resume normal operation, backwashing out unused product as required. For other filters, reinstall the filter into the tank and resume operation, rinsing out unused product from the filter as required. Never let cartridges or DE elements dry before cleaning. |
