Nice switch, and it will do the functions needed for 99% of use cases out there. I love that the key cap keeps water spray out of the internals. I'm using it on a boat. When switch is in the OFF position, Black to Green wire will be shorted. One will normally put ground on the Black, and the ignition kill will go on Green so it grounds it out to stop the engine in the OFF position. In the ON position, White will short to Yellow. You will normally place your battery positive on White, and use the Yellow wire for items that you want energized when in the Key ON position. When the Key is taken to the spring loaded START position, the White and Yellow will remain shorted, but it will also short to RED. Red usually goes to the starter solenoid to start the engine.
