I injured my left hand, making it impossible to play long scale basses anymore, so I started looking around for short scale instruments. Along with bass ukuleles and mini acoustics, I saw the Fender mini and decided to give it a shot. Since I’ve been playing Fenders all my life it seemed like a no brainer. I saw the reviews that said they needed lots of set up and adjustments, so I was prepared for that. Maybe the techs at Fender read the reviews too, because mine was dead on perfect right out of the box. Intonation, neck, string height, pickups, all perfect. And I love the satin neck instead of the sticky gloss finish that Fender sometimes uses. I agree the strings are not the best, and that is literally my only quibble. I’ve owned a lot of basses over the years, but I think I take the most satisfaction from this one, because it lets me play real bass again. And for anyone who cares, it has a really nice “cool factor”. This is a great deal all around.

De entrada soy pianista de profesión, toco jazz y diversidad de música. Buscaba un bajo pequeño para mis hijos y para mí que soy fan de los bajos eléctricos. Lo vi en oferta y bueno, por el precio el mejor bajo eléctrico, llegando lo probé y me sorprendió, de todas maneras lo lleve a un ajuste con un laudero amigo mío y quedo aun mejor. Un gran sonido, no pesa nada, es super cómodo. Tengo mi propio bajo, pero... ahora paso horas tocando este bajo, por lo ligero y cómodo que es. Buenos acabados, buena maquinaria, esperemos que dure muchos años por el uso diario que practicamente se le dá. Si quieres un bajo super ligero y facil de transportar, económico, te diré este es una excelente opción. Si eres profesional del bajo electrico, se entiende que te puede gustar o no.

Fijn klein bassgitaartje, perfect voor mijn kleine handen/vingers, weegt ook niet zo veel en het geluid is meer dan goed voor dit geld.

Vi algunos videos de músicos profesionales, todos concordando en que es un buen bajo, en amazon tenían el mejor precio y por eso es que lo compre, el bajo llego sin ningún daño, ni un rasguño, todo perfecto, lo probe con un amplificador fender, siguiendo las indicaciones que vi en unos videos, y si, si tiene muy buen sonido, el tamaño es el indicado, es de escala corta.
