I adored this book, and these authors.
So, I love SM Shades, & CM Owens romcoms, but haven't picked up Worth it until this weekend.I have been in a book slump and needed something to pull me out.And let me tell you, if you love over the top funny heroines who get into crazy shinanagians then you will love Worth It.Three friends take a week long vacation for a wedding.Lydia- the grooms ex, is a good girl who is above revenge but her two besties are by her side to wreak havoc on the wedding.Kasha is the step sister of the groom. After her mom married Anderson's father. - Kasha doesn't hate Anderson, but she certainly doesn't like or approve of him either. Lydia could do so much better.Henley is the other who is rounding out the trio. Her year long boyfriend just cheated on her, and she could definitely use the vacation and distraction. Neither Kasha or Henley are above revenge, and they are happy to bring a little chaos to the uppity high class event. But of course, nothing ever goes as planned. From a rogue prosthetic, to dominatrix stripper who have no problem taking it to far, trouble and hilarity follows. But amid the chaos neither Kasha or Henley expect to find flings. Could there be something more, or is the week all they have? This book was a quick read, that brings on the funny between three best friends and a simple revenge plan gone astray. I don't know why I haven't picked up this book before now, but I enjoyed it. It definitely had me laughing out loud. I adored this book, and these authors. 4⭐ out of 5⭐

HLB Reviews Worth It
I have a couple of recommendations about reading this book. First, if you are depressed and want to cheer up, this is your book. Second, if you just like to laugh this is your book. Third, if it's midnight and you want a book to read, this is not your book unless its the weekend or you can call into work the next day because you aren't going to want to stop reading this book. I can't even explain how much I love this book, it was hilarious, and honestly I wish I could see it in movie form because it would be the best train wreck ever. One of the fun things about this book is that it is not centered on two people, it is more like four main characters and a couple other secondary characters that are pretty big players in the book. Normally when books have this many people I feel like things get to crowded and inevitably the characters stories suffer, this is so not the case in this book. The book is short in terms of time, but not much else, in everything else it's BIG. So three friends are going to the wedding of one of their exes, oh and did I mention that one of the girls is the stepsister of the ex of the other girl. So it's all kinds of family and ex drama. But these three girls are thick and thieves and want to be supportive and also kind of want to get even on the jerk of an ex. Of course at the wedding everything changes for the two girls who are there for emotional support, they both stumble upon sexy guys to enjoy their time at the several day long wedding event. So first off Kasha meets Roman, a guy she went to school with but really didn't have a lot of interaction with. There is a lot of chemistry coming off these two, I mean they have it in droves. But it's hard to tell at first if these two are going to end up hating each other or loving each other, I mean it's obvious a hook up is in their future, but is it going to be a hate hookup. They are hilarious together, they have great banter. A lot of the humor in this couple comes from Kasha's robot arm, her dad is an inventor and made her a robot arm that has AI and learns what to do over time based on what Kasha is thinking, this of course ends up with her arm going rogue more than once. The rogue arm is hilarious on more than one occasion. But one thing I loved is how comfortable Kasha is with herself, and how completely great it is that Roman is not at all phased by the arm.Henley runs into her first love, Davis, the guy who after having her first time with basically disappeared. These two have a bit more of an emotional journey than Kasha and Roman, because of this history, and this is where I get my emotional fulfillment. Henley of course is struggling with getting over her hurt from before, but at the same time she still have a lot of the same feelings for Davis that she did before. And like every other girl in the world she decides that she can build a wall around her feelings and just go for the wedding hookup. Also Henley has awesome revenge plans.I love this book so much, it is so funny. I want to talk about all the things that make me laugh, but I think if I did I would ruin the fun of the book. So I'm just going to list things I think you should look out for: rogue birds, eggs, rogue arms, strippers, dominatrixes, llamas, the best most inappropriate party hijacking, and so much more. I can't even explain to you how much I think you should read this book.

Hands down the funniest book I have ever read!!
Everything from the characters to the story line were amazing and kept me laughing throughout the whole book.Kasha and Henley attend a wedding with Lydia - the ex of the groom. After the groom breaks Lydia's heart, Kasha and Henley decided to sabotage the wedding in the funniest ways. Kasha is accident prone and at every turn is the talk of the wedding. While during one of those moments she meets Roman. They hit it off right away and their chemistry and conversations had me laughing out loud so many times! During the wedding week, Henley runs into her childhood first love Davis who had broken her heart. She decides to show him what he missed by leaving her and they start a wedding fling. Only he has no intentions of letting her go again and she is desperately trying to stave off her feelings for him. Their relationship is funny, romantic and so entertaining!I love that in this book the author makes the characters so relatable and realistic. The drama and funny is definitely exaggerated but I think everyone can relate to these characters in some way. You dread the idea of any of these situations happening to you but can't stop laughing reading about it.The women in this story definitely made the book but what seals it are the men. When most would be put off by these openly crazy girls, the men love it and at times join them in there wild pranks. The lead men in this story are romantic, equally as witty as the women and love them BECAUSE of their crazy. The author also gives them sensible careers that make everything just so relatable and realistic. It's so much easier, in my opinion, to enjoy a book when you believe you could 'fall in love' with the physical therapist rather than the CEO of a billion dollar company.I cannot recommend this book enough!! A 5 star read but I'd give it more if I could!

Funny, Weird and Sweet
I bought this book when it first came out and never got around to reading it. I thought I would love it but didn’t want the disappointment if it didn’t live up to the hype. Now enough time has passed for the anticipation to have died back to normal proportions. I’m some silly for waiting so long because I could have been on the second read through by now if I’d read it when I got it!This book was hilarious; laugh out loud, snort drink out your nose funny. The set up is simple enough, three friends go to a wedding week. One of the friends, Lydia, is the ex of the groom and he’s marrying the woman he cheated on her with. One of the friends, Kasha, is the step-sister of the groom. The other friend, Henley, is there for moral support. Neither Henley or Kasha really understand why Lydia is there, but they are there to support her. Then Henley meets her first love and Kasha meets a guy she knew of at school and their interest in staying at the wedding increases enormously. The book is filled with hot encounters, hilarious sabotage endeavours and fantastically funny banter. The authors are incredibly creative and situations the friends find themselves are mind-boggling. I honestly can’t comprehend how their minds work. However, when one of the authors also writes the Violent Circle books it’s not surprising what her brain comes up with. The relationships between the friends is lovely. Supportive, funny and believable. The relationships between Kasha and Roman and Henley and Davis are sweet, hot and funny. I also like that the relationships between Kasha and the members of her family are explored.I know I’m late to the game but this book is a perfect pick me up in a rubbish year and in a way I’m glad I saved it for when it was really needed! I recommend it highly, it’s a perfect Rom-com!

The craziest and worst wedding ever!
OMG, I hardly laughed so much, I think not since “Get Lucky »!This book has 3 stories in one, Henley, Kasha and the wedding’s week!Impossible to sum it up.Wa have 3 women on their way for a week of craziness :Kasha, the stepsister of the groomHenley, her best friendLydia, the second best friend and girlfriend of the groom before he cheated on her.During this week, we see Henley reconnecting with her first love Davis and Kasha getting free with a bored Roman.Everything goes from heaven to hell with lot of snorts, laughters, smiles and crazy underwear plus monster birds...The two women were first here to sabotage the wedding’s party and supporting their friend but soon they are transported in an other world, their hilarious banters draining the two men to them.Henley has strong insecurities regarding love since Davis left her, she agrees to a week of fun but is afraid of more, afraid of the pain to be left again.Kasha is an hilarious kluntz, she had to learn to live for what she wants the hard way, it is her doubts that are blocking her for more so can someone enters her universe and accepts her for what she is.If you want to read this book, choose a quiet and alone place, near a restroom, or you will be rewarded by strange looks when they will see you rolling on the floor or running in the bathroom. And the epilogues, just perfect!

WORTH IT
The title of the book says it all. It is definitely worth reading it. Funny, smart and incredible charming. At first I wasn't quite sure if I will like the story but once I started reading I could not stop. I hat to laugh so much that tears were running down my cheeks. I really hope to read more from these fresh authors who know how to combine sex, romance and esprit without making it cheesy.

Absolutely hilarious, heartwarming and CRAZY!
Let's be honest, I heard great things about this book. Both authors are new to me and it was a discounted price so I didn't hesitate to jump right in.The first couple of chapters I was regretting my decision...... the writing seemed stilted and I wasn't connecting with the story. I'm so glad I kept reading!By chapter three I was hooked, the writing started to flow effortlessly and I was becoming invested in this characters! Then the crazy antics started and I couldn't put this book down!! No joke, I laughed till I almost peed my pants. Between these three BFF'S a thirst for revenge and one robotic arm things quickly become absolutely crazy ridiculous and hilarious. Throw in some hot men, a couple flings and some accidental ecstasy champagne (with strippers!) and Dear Lord you have a recipe for perfection :)In closing, if you enjoy dark, dirty humor, craziness and celebrating the sisterhood this book is for you!Great job Authors! 5 Stars!
