MatferBourgeat Classic Chef+ Frying Pan, Round, Nonstick, 11 "

I'd been wanting a nice non-stick pan and read about these on America's Test Kitchen. Found it on a restaurant supply site, but $24 shipping was a bit extreme. Luckily Amazon had them - a bit more expensive, but with free shipping ultimately cost less.It heats up nicely and clean up is a breeze. It's brand new, so I'm hoping the non-stick lasts for quite a while.

This has become my “go to” skillet. I use it for everything. It is so easy to clean.

I now have 2 Matfer pans with a carbon steel being the first. Based on that experience, I easily chose this non-stick.It is ideal and made well.However, the handle is a curious piece of thin metal. It does not get hot, but it is uncomfortable to hold, grasp and work with. I am surprised.Because I move my pans while cooking, the grip is important and needs to be secure. This handle is going to take a couple of trips out for me to feel comfortable.Maybe Matfer chose to put keep their price point in line by putting their design into the cooking area primarily.

This is a great and lightweight non-stick frying pan.. I will be getting a couple more sizes now

Love this pan! Beats high end pans I’ve had. Would recommend it to anyone from beginner to advanced chef. Great for steaks!
