Can I use this pillow with a cpap machine?

Yes. I wear the full mask and this pillow works better for me than the "cpap pillows" with the cutouts. The bonus is it helps keep you from rolling onto to your back, the least favorable position for sleep apnea.

Does this keep you from rolling onto your back (so you snore less)? How thick is it?

This pillow could be designed better. It was to hard and to thick (5 inches). I don't get why one side is longer than the other (uncomfortable when you switch sides). Impossible to put the cover on - once it is removed! As a side pillow the concept works but it had too many flaws for me. It would be to uncomfortable to sleep on your back. Hope this was helpful!

How thick is the pillow under the neck?

It’s sort of however it looks more like a candy cane with one side being longer than the other. The long side keeps your back in alignment. Best pillow I’ve ever bought! Now I can sleep!

Does this pillow stop you from sleeping on your back? I need something to keep me sleeping on either side only.

This pillow has no support. Plus it has a strong chemical smell that doesn’t go away. I don’t think it will help you stay on your side.
