Its easy to operate. It's expensive and could be sold for $30.00 like the Wonder Bible. It's an SD card with the complete Bible on it placed inside the silver (redeemption) box. I really enjoy having one.Also if you buy one, please get the protection plan. The part where you plug the power chord in can really weaken after a number of uses. They need to strengthen it. My old one stopped charging. I purchased another one since the NKJV is my favorite translation along with the KJV. The sound quality and night light are outstanding! I have to hide the light to avoid waking up my wife. I go to sleep and wake up listening to this Bible player. For the price, it should come with a protective carrying case. The earphones are good. A lot more people would purchase these if the price was lower. The volume is fantastic too! They make the best gifts.I thank these companies for making audio Bibles in the troubled world that we live in.Everyone could benefit in having one. When you click the switch you recieve Father God's love Extra note: The battery will play through the night for days.If you have loved ones in the hospital, this will bless and encourage them. They could listen and be transformed andstrengthened. Again, this will be a blessing to those who's hearts are open to the Lord! No matter what station of life they are in. Its a little expensive but a priceless treasure. When you see the homeless, a prostitute, drunkard, angry or lost destructive person, you will know if they are receptive. Speak life and say I have this for you and it will be a great blessing in your life. I pray that inmates in jails and prisons throughout America and globally can receive these silver boxes that will transform their lives as they listen and walk in it. They are very portable and can go with you anywhere. Lonely people will really appreciate these.

... but I've had more failed attempts than I can count. I think this product is going to make that goal attainable for me.It is my intention to read the bible in it's entirety over the course of a year.Along the way, I've discovered that I comprehend this type of literature best when I can listen and read at the same time.This device allows me to input the exact book & chapter that I'm "assigned" for any particular day.I am using this player in conjunction with the  Life Application Study Bible NKJV as well as one of the schedules from BibleStudyTools.com. (But a simple google search for bible reading plans will provide many options.)I purchased the Kindle version of the study bible, (which allows me to enlarge the text to a comfortable size, jump to specific readings and then to the relevant study discussions.) This combination of tools cements my comprehension experience and has made the bible totally accessible to me -- for the first time ever, I feel that I am understanding, (and enjoying), what I am reading.It takes a mere 15 minutes a day to do my routine, but of course, one could listen straight through if they desired to do so.Pros of this device:--lightweight. Is small and portable, but not so small that it gets lost.--easy to operate, once you understand how it works--clear and pleasant enunciation of the text--arrived fully charged and appears to retain its charge well--clear digital display of reading location and battery level--many different versions of the bible are available (AMP, KJV, NASB, NIV, NKJV, NLT, NRSV at the time of this review)--the dmbibleplayer.com website has an instructional video, which is very helpful.--does not require the internet to be usedCons:--the font of the manual is small, so it's uncomfortable to read - it is necessary for learning the device. (I did not have internet access at the time of it's arrival, so was dependent on the manual.)--If you don't know the book numbers & want to navigate to a specific book/chapter, you need to look them up in the manual - which is a cumbersome. I experimented with a few ways around this. Pic #1 shows a list of the track numbers taped to the back of the device. This was too small for my aging eyes, so I made a little tag with packing tape and attached it to the back. (Pic #2) Problem solved.--the numbers and symbols on the buttons are embossed but not inked, so it's difficult to see them. (I may ink them in with a Sharpie)--expensiveOverall, this is a terrific device and the "Pros" far outweigh the "Cons"My biggest issue was the cost - but at the end of the day, I'm very happy to have this device and believe that it is money well spent.

Im very impressed with my audio bible, I purhased 2 more as gifts (they're happy with theirs also). The messages are clear and easy to comprehend.. It's perfect for people on the go that don't have time to read or those that have a hard time understanding the bible. Even if you've already read the bible, it's great to get a review of the messages, sometimes you have a better knowledge when you hear things repetitively. It's small enough to fit into a pocket or purse, take it wherever you go.

came a little scuffed up? used?tried it before giving to a friend, it is a little hard for some to use (go to book and chapter) but not for me. It is very clear and volume is great. very small and easy to pack around. It was a gift and she loves it.
