I have a confession, I have a great pair of Zeis 10 X 42 bins, but lost the case, so bought these for the case not the binoculars. Case was decent, however what shocked me was the quality of the binoculars, they are not a patch on the Zeis, however not bad and 50 times cheaper! I do a lot of bird watching and these would be a great for someone wanting to have a go, but not spend a lot of money.Pro's - they look great, a hell of a lot better than your granddad's set that make you look like an extra from Das Boat! Seriously they are solid to hold, lens covers, rubber armour, focus wheel is smooth, just look and feel like a quality pair of bins. 10 X magnification is really good, (please do not be tempted to go higher, as they will be useless for wildlife and you will need a tripod to support them). They claim to be nitrogen filled and weather proof, time will tell I suppose.Cons - field of view not brilliant, but okay for X10. Tried them out in low light versus the Zeis and not as good but not bad at all. Eye relief is not great, I do not wear glasses so usually have the eye cups fully extended, had them one notch out to get a decent view, would expect to get tired eyes if using them for long periods of time. Suspect if you wear glasses these maybe okay for you. On the weighty side, will help with a steady view though.In summary, these binoculars cost £21, £4 less than the Zeis case I was going to buy! Got a decent case and a decent back up pair of bins and at this ridiculously low price, they are a steal!

I am very happy with the purchase, they are the best quality binoculars at cheaper price.They are solidly built with a very sure grip yet very light and small enough to fit into your pocket, which is a big plus when on the move. The eye lens has a soft rubber cover to protect the eye area while using the binoculars.The image is pin sharp and so easy to focus, ideal for bird watching but I am sure they would lend themselves to any sport.I took this to our recent holiday and thoroughly enjoyed scenery and other stuff.They come with a protective case, and a full 12 month warranty with the option to extend that to 2 years, Also with full instructions on maintenance and focusing.I am happy to recommend them to anybody looking for a well made efficient pair of binoculars without spending a fortune.
