The best made chaps I've ever owned.
After buying chaps from a company using "Tin Cloth" here in the the Pacific Northwest for years, they are no longer really interested in making outdoorsmen clothing and are not going to reopen their Seattle based factory and move what little they do make overseas. They've moved into more of a fashion oriented business for those who like to pretend to be outdoorsmen. So, I had to look elsewhere as U.S. made REAL outdoor gear is my preference. These are the highest quality, tough, hand sewn U.S. made waxed cotton chaps I've ever own, and I'm not young. If there would be a down side, I think the "wanna be" would think they are too heavy and bulky. Trust me though, if you truly ramble through the brush and brambles, I don't think these can be beat. I'm sure it's a lifetime situation with these. I hope they decide to make other waxed outdoor garments in the future. I'll be right there if they do.

Top quality
Extremely well built. Old school craftsmanship. The only problem I have is that this company doesn't make more upland game gear built the same way. I don't mind paying more for quality like this made in America.

Perfect
Purchased for Iowa pheasant hunting. Work great. Have put miles on them with little noticeable wear. Repels water, wind, and cold. I'm 6'3 and the are long enough. Would recommend for any upland hunter in any terrain or conditions.

Good ol Chaps
These chaps were just was I was looking for. Over the years of wearing them, I believe they will only get better with age. The only thing I would recommend is to have a full length heavy duty zipper to make them easier to put on.
