After receiving the product, the filters are not the same dimensions as the topfin EF-S filters. The are much to tall to use in the tank. I can’t keep the lid on the tank and have this filter in. They are not compatible with topfin tank filters despite the description

These are junk! Bought them thinking they were a cheap alternative to the original and would do the same job. My tank is very clean and these only go on an axillary filter that really is just to move water around however after 2 days these filters clog and the water starts to flow over the bypass. They are made from cheap materials that do not last. Just buy the manufacturer version and save the hassell

Don't bother with these, they are basically worthless. The material is very cheap and thin. I put them in the tank and they filtered practically nothing, I had to replace them within a few days. If you cannot find the regular Topfin Large filters the basic Tetra Large Filters will also work.

They don’t filter almost anything. Mine after I cleaned the fish tank completely, each one lasted two days at the most. You can see through them and it barely has carbon. I gave one star because there is no option for zero. Don’t waste your money, buy the originals.

Great substitute at a discount, it’s definitely serving it’s purpose coupled with poly-fil 😉
