split digital audio? Really?
YUP. TV had one digital audio output. My father needed to have a bluetooth headset and a soundbar plugged in at the same time. Both needed Digital Audio.I needed a "splitter".The Source (Radio Shack) said Nope...Others said nope...Best Buy said it wasn't possible.Amazon said Yes.I was worried about signal loss. NOPE. Works great.Happy non technical parents. Proud "techy" son.

Easy to install works well
This the third time that I have bought adapters for AV situations from this company and are blown away that they not only have the exact product I need to convert signals but have them in stock for speedy delivery, Items like this can not be found locally as Big box stores have missed the opportunity, to look after compatability issues with older products, this product I bought this time allowed me to add surround speakers to a Bose Sound bar, which every one said could not be done, they are wrong works great

Good product for inexpensive price
Very good splitter and 4 quality optical cords for the price of one optical cord if bought in store. Hard to believe they can sell it for this price. Used it to split optical out from TV to one out to Bose soundbar and one out to integrated receiver. Powered by supplied USB power cable plugged into TV USB input.

Comes with optical cables
I bought this mainly for the splitter itself to hook up a sound bar and headset(Astro A50) to the same tv. The extra optical cables made my day; the product is as described and I don’t see any depreciation in audio quality. My tv can detect both devices and I can switch between them from the ps5 menus.

It does what is supposed to, built well too.
Bought. this so I could use a a sound bar and/or my stereo. Together or apart. And I can. USB cable is long enough to get to the usb input on my TV the supplied(six!) cords work fine.
