I had a problem with a recessed light fixture, so I decided to just replace it. this item came up and it did the trick. no complicated wiring or balasts to deal with, as they're already integrated. just hookup hot and nutral and you're done!

LED lights are a big selling point these days because everyone wants to reduce heat from lamps and save on electricity costs. A popular option is the recessed light like this one. Particularly if like me you live in a low ceiling apartment and don’t want to bang your head on lights which hang down. Installing recessed lights are NOT for everyone. I urge caution: please remember you are dealing with electricity. Shut your breakers off and if you are not familiar please get a professional’s help.That said… I like LED lights. Only problem is they don’t tend to last. You get manufacturers who claim things like too much heat, or surges within the line. LEDs originally should last decades; but then manufacturers couldn’t sell you more lights. Fortunately, there are low cost alternatives like this one for when these lights inevitably burn out (and they all do due to how they are made).Also one quick note: not all LED lights are dimmable. This one IS dimmable. But I did discover curiosities of missing ground wire (as others commented) and lack of instructions. So I say again – nice light, please use common sense when installing. If you are DIY and you are unsure, please, please, please turn off your entire house/apartment power. It’s safer.A final note is: I didn’t find the light as bright as I would like. But it definitely has a nice whiteness to it and doesn’t make things appear overshadowed.Pros• Quick installation• Missing ground but there is a grounding spot• Not as bright as I would like but good white colorCons• Lack of instructions or diagrams was a bit of a bummer, but you can track down some guides though the manufacturer if you need it.I chose this light because of its features. It’s not as bright as I would like but I still feel it’s a good light.

Removed old fluorescent lights and mounted the flush mount led light and looks/performs much better. Good lights

I purchased this LED Panel Light as a retrofit for my existing 6-inch incandescent ceiling light. I really liked the ease of installation and it covered fit perfectly as a direct replacement. I went ahead and took the opportunity to install an LED dimmer to fully benefit from the panel light's dimming capabilities.This LED light is much better than the incandescent bulb in terms of brightness. The best endorsement comes from my wife, who is quite particular about the color temperature of the lights in our home. She disapproves of any 'blue' light, and this warm white LED panel, with its 3000K temperature, it's the perfect balance of light and softness.I definitely recommend this LED panel light for anyone considering a retrofit. It not only increases the light output and reduces the energy usage, but also adds a pleasing appeal with its warm color.

Aside from the time to remove the old lighting this led panel can be installed in less than 5 minutes. It’s that easy and the result is very pleasing. The instructions are very clear and simple. Just recently replaced three troffer type lights that used 2 x t12 , so far and this is an excellent product and was so easy to install. You do have to screw on the driver box but this uses easy quick connect for wires. Panel lights completely and looks fantastic with extreme brightness compared to old fluorescent types. Would highly recommend

Light is nice, not heavy, and even light. You do have to attach the connection box to the light.

installed these lights in my finished basement. Had the T8 and decided to upgrade to LED for suspended ceilings. Installation was good, panels fit without modifying the t-bar but won't know how long they last so it's wait and see. The lights are 5000K output but do not seem as bright as the old T8 with daylight tubes but they do seem to fill the room with more light, or so it seems to me.
