Oscar MayerBACON THICK CUT 16 OZ PACK OF 2

This is the absolute best bacon. It's not overly smoky (which a lot of the thick-cut, "manly" ones are.) The slices are uniform, so I can bake a pound of it in the oven or microwave just a few slices (at exactly 1 minute per slice). It's nice and chewy, and if I cook it longer it's nice and crunchy. It's a little bit sweet and a little bit salty, and I've never bought a package that was mostly fat or gristle. My biggest criticism is that no stores in eastern Massachusetts carry it. I've been to every grocery store around, including Target and Walmart, and no one carries it. The regular OM bacon is OK but not as satisfying. Amazon carries it for an eye-watering price of $54 for two pounds--and I just might buy some anywy.
