Works great!
Wasn’t expecting much for the price and I’ve never used a polisher before but wanted something cheaper to try. I needed to polish my headlights. It does seem to get a little warm after 5 minutes but didn’t get hot enough that I was worried.

Good value
Never had one before, seems decent quality, no overheading so far, not a lot of torque so if really trying to cut something look elsewhere, but for home guy trying to fix car paint damage hard to beat so far.

good bang for the buck
I have a rotary polisher and use it for medium paint defects. The pad on the rotary is 8.5 inches and has a large footprint. I was looking for a smaller machine to use on my vehicle for light polishing and applying a final top coat ie wax or sealant. I gave the machine 4 stars because I have not used it long enough . I love the smaller pad 5 inch and have a lot of control using the machine . Seems to work very well and it performs great for my needs. I am not a professional detailer but I have experience polishing my personal vehicles over the years.Bottom line ,I like the machine very easy to use, and gets the job done on my 3 year old vehicle . I will give a follow up review in the future.

I don't have anything negative to say. I just like it.
I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but if I were to do use it. I know it's going to be perfect for what I'm eating. And also the price was good.

Bought it to buff my vehicles
Speed is adjustable. Only used it a few times so can’t comment on durability yet but so far so good. It got the job done.

I'm actually impressed.
I rarely take the time to write a lengthy or in depth review, but I did research these a bunch before buying and hope my input will be useful. This is my third buffer. I have the industry standard porter cable d/a and dewalt high speed rotary buffer. I'm an ASE certified backyard mechanic and detailer. So I've done some stuff and have some experience...I purchased this second d/a yo keep and use in my RV. I used it for several hours yesterday both buffing with compound and swell as applying wax. This unit has the same sound and feel as my porter cable. I was really surprised. I was really expecting a disposable tool, like a harbor frieghts unit. One that comes with extra brushes because they are so cheap they only last 2 hours. And it smells like an electrical fire the entire time you use it.This d/a has a soft start motor. It take a second or two to build up to the selected speed. Kinda annoying, but it's actually a good thing and was more expensive to manufacture. The unit feels slightly heavier and looks slightly longer. No big deal. This is a spare, that will rarely get used unless I get bored on a road trip or have to fix defect before it drives me crazy. The one bad thing is the dang switch. It seems to get bumped easily and turns off. It's on the top vs the side where it should be and the latching mechanism isn't the smartest design. Again, another product designed by someone who has never used one.lol.The pad that it came with seems like garbage. I wont use it. But it is better than the abortion of a pad that the porter cable comes with.DO NOT USE A PAD THAT IS SMALLER THAN 6.5 INCHES. Seems obvious. But u recall seeing a lot of questions about this. A 6 would fit, but the little extra adds some bumper protection... if that makes sense.I wouldnt buy this as my primary. I have a thing for tools. I want the best, most reliable, and longest lasting. But as a second unit/travel took it is perfect. For a guy that can't afford it or is a cheap skate, this unit will be just fine.Very little doubt that this took will last. The gears sound solid. Everything is tight. Good stuff

The best at any price
I am a professional paint corrector and detailer who alsio does body work. For what this is i have to give it 5 stars. this is my third one . My other two i had for four years with no issues and were used and abused on a daily basis. They were stolen otherwise i would not be buying more. so now that i am replacing all of my tools that were stolen. I am not spending a fortune like i did on my rupes, and flex polishers not when this brand and other knock off brands are just as good and sometimes a lot better. I have had the porter cable. Thist definitely has more power. I use this for my nano skins clay bar pads and sanding paint off of cars. It has a 9mm throw which is great for that. I have every range of throw in da tools. Each diameter of throw has its specific use. I have all three models of hyet polishers they are extremely well made. My list of D/A s. and rotarys that i use daily are Dynablade 3 and 5 mm air powered D/ As , a right angle bauer drill that i use extensions and 1 2 and 3 inch pads with. And several 1 2 3 inch air powered d\a. From hf, northern tool and ebay. A 1990 Milwaukee rotary my first from when i sixteen. 2 old Mkitas. I replaced my whole arsenal for a fraction of the price of what i had spent originally. I will put hyet polishers up against any big name brand. More expsenive is not better. Especially when a 100 dollar 21mm out performs the 400 dollar one. I know i had both. The only thing i have a complaint about is with 21 and having to seat and reseat the backing plate to get level so it doesnt vibrate and wobble. But once its dialed in its a beast and i love it. Like
