Great value replacement cartridges for water filter jugs
I use these in a brita jug as a replacement filter to get great tasting water. They are really easy to use, fit the jug perfectly and provide grata value for money. I also use the filtered water in my kettle so cut down on lime scale build up.

Not compatible with Brita jug despite being advertised as suitable
These were advertised as compatible with my Brita jug, and the shape and size do appear correct at first glance. However, they are missing the small lug underneath that is needed to activate the valve in the jug. As a result, water does not flow properly into the jug even though it passes through the filter. I only realised this after purchasing a pack of 12, which makes it very disappointing. Unfortunately, they are completely unusable for my Brita system, and I was also unable to return them. This listing is misleading, and buyers should double-check compatibility before purchasing
