Q: Which end is supposed to be the top and which is the bottom? Hard to tell from pics and I could see it being either.

Q: Fairly subjective, but do you think this is wide enough for parent and child to comfortably sit against together?

It's a fairly large pillow and while it is optimized for one person, that doesn't mean you can't share with your mini-me!

Q: Pillow arrived folded in half, resulting in the foam shaping like a cashew nut/chunky bottom. Will the foam adjust to the correct shape over time?

Mine adjusted, but mostly we sat it flat and laid on the floor on it because it was too puffy for our needs. Now it's about right now that it's thinner and shaped.

Q: Do you get the Casper warranty when purchasing from Amazon?

Return it and get a new one. Mine was perfect out of the box
