I was unsure at first. Slightly different than I expected. But it worked out ok. The first one failed when I installed the batteries. There must have been an internal defect. But the vendor and Amazon shipped us a new one no questions asked. I alway buy from Amazon and would buy from this vendor again as well.

In less than a year, this seventy five dollar set has cost us 300 just to tend to it, having broken three times with little use.Handle: A month into having this set, the handle section stopped functioning - neither outside or inside would pull the latch in. Door won't open. I had to call a locksmith to come crowbar into the house and replace the cam and latch. Another 125+tip. A month later, the knobs stopped working with the new latch. I had to buy a replacement handle and assembly. Went with the Schlage this time and it's been working well. Another ~100.Now, less than a year into owning it, the deadbolt also failed. From the keypad, it will only unlock, not lock. You can only lock the house from the inside. Now we're going to have to replace that.A year in, we've had to have a locksmith fix it, had to replace the handle, and now replace the deadbolt. Maybe we got a dud, but every part has been a dud so far.

We've had this installed for a few months now and we have had zero problems with it. It works great and looks very nice. It was a bit of a pain in the butt to install. We could not get the door knob off of the doorknob holder. The little pin that somes with it is awful. I had to fiddle with it for about 40 minutes before I could pull the knob out to instal the thing. I feel sorry for whoever comes along to replace it. It will be very difficult. But once it was on it was great.

Let me say from the start the digital deadbolt is perfect. Easy to install, took about 25 minutes from the time I removed the existing standard deadbolt to having the digital deadbolt installed and working without any problems. As other reviewers pointed out follow the directions to a tee and you won’t have a problem, don’t skip a single step.What should have been the “easy” part, installing the new door handle, has been a week long battle. I don’t know what the problem is but sometimes it just won’t open. As in you can’t get out of the house, my mother and sister were literally trapped in my house until it occurred to them to go out the back door or through the garage. I thought I was going to have to call a locksmith but when I came home I had no problem. My mother and sister felt like absolute morons. They thought the ability to open a door was a skill they lost somehow. After making fun of them for 2 days about how simply opening the front door was apparently a lost art for some people and that the next time they came over I’d make sure an expert in turning a door knob was available if no one was home. All the sudden it wasn’t so funny when I couldn’t open the door when I was heading out to work. It works randomly, no rhyme or reason that I can tell. Yesterday I didn’t close it all the way because I was bringing groceries in and didn’t want to risk it not opening (why yes, I am too lazy to push the garage door opener…) so after the groceries are in the house I shut the door and of course it works. Couple hours later my neighbor is frantically posting on Nextdoor that her 100% indoor cat has escaped, I could hear her calling for the cat while her husband was driving around looking for it. Being the good neighbor I am I go help with the search party, sadly little Fluffy was nowhere to be found. UNTIL I WENT INTO MY BEDROOM. There’s little Fluffy sleeping on my bed, I jumped halfway to the ceiling, it picks it’s head up, looks at me, licks it’s paw as if saying “Yeah, if you didn’t want me in your house maybe you should have kept your door shut” then goes back to sleep. Are you effing serious neighbor cat? Not only did I waste an hour looking for it I’m highly allergic to cats, I picked it up brought it back to it’s relieved owners. I came home with hives and eyes watering. Bonus - got to change the sheets before I could get in my own bed, the intruder left a parting gift if cat hair. The moral of the story? It doesn’t matter how well the digital deadbolt works if the run of the mill door handle doesn’t.Just to be clear the digital deadbolt gets 5 Stars on all counts, my rating is solely based on the handle. I’m going to try and reinstall it and see if I have better luck.

I've has this on our door for a few months. Batteries have only needed to be replaced once compared to the multiple times a month I would replace them on our old one. Good construction, easy, long lasting battery use, and looks great. The only issue was at installation when the settings were reversed (1/2). My setting because of the door direction was 1 and it was already set to 2. Works like a charm now.

Purchased Dec 2020.Everything worked well for about a year. Then it began to have issues....sometimes the dead bolt would not lock, requiring the key to secure the deadbolt. Replacing batteries would improve the function for a short period of time, then it would go right back to not locking the deadbolt. It became a game of wondering if it would lock the deadbolt, or just make a noise and not lock the deadbolt. Then the door knob shaft began to back out from the door mechanism, making it impossible to exit the house. You would need to unscrew the door knob from the door, pull the shaft back out, and then reinsert the shaft into the door mechanism.After suffering through 2 years of intermittent and unreliable performance....I'm done with it.Short term.....it's fine. After a few years, it's unreliable and requires the key to lock/unlock the deadbolt.

UPDATE: After making a warranty claim the manufacturer replaced the inner door knob. Yay! It worked for 5 months and now the exterior door knob has failed. The thumb lever just snapped. This set is a piece of junk.Skip this lock due to inconsistent manufacturing. As others have said the lock/unlock buttons are reversed. The knob also arrived with a misaligned factory crimp on the handle, bending it out of shape and making it impossible to install. The color of antique brass is also somewhat green. Overall would not recommend.

Install is easy and so far works without a problem
