Great pumps
I returned the 1200 pump and replaced it with the 500 series. I didn't know a 1-inch pipe is the inside diameter of the pipe. Not wanting to cut the hole in the hull bigger, I figured it would be easier to exchange it. These Attwood pumps are excellent. The motor is a cartridge that can be replaced if need be. I plan on getting an extra cartridge or two because anybody knows there can be water sloshing around in the bottom of the boat, and it may be possible for the water to find its way into the motor. That is the reason I need to replace the old pump, so I recommend an Attwood pump with a cartridge motor for that reason.
