Product dimensions and description are accurate. Some tips to keep in mind:-Grounding prong is tucked behind the motor on the plate-Speed control wiring is not properly setup to plug inline with existing power cable. Speed control wiring has two male ends instead of one male and one female. You'll need to re-wire one end or splice the speed control into the existing wiring. (seems like a simple thing for the manufacturer to fix)-Noise is as described. At full speed you can hear it (like a fan running in the room). At 70% speed it isn't that noticeable. Moves decent air.Gas fireplace running 20 mins brought the room up 4 degrees.

I have seen other post about the short wires to the speed control and that is correct. However, DIY can work through it.

The fan is perfectly acceptable. Noise level at the speed I use it at is fine. I have it set about half speed. This is missing a very important piece with the heat based switch. It is clearly engineered to include it because without it you have no way to attach power using the included rheostat to adjust the speed without cutting wires or other modifications.It moves a moderate amout of air and helps to project the heat out quicker from the fireplace making it moderatly more efficient. I didnt want it blowing full speed because of the noise.The wiring is too short to get the speed adjustment anywhere near the front of the fireplace. This is specific to a model of fireplace. They know the measurements and just got lazy and cheap. Minus a star.You power the unit at full power with the plug as is but to add the rheostat you have to cut the wiring and add some of your own. They know the model of fireplace does not require a switched 110v outlet but left the heat switch out. Minus a star.This comes with pads to prevent rattling. I used one but have not had any issues.I added my own connectors, rigged a way to add the ground, and put a heat switch on and added my own wiring and still didnt have enough wiring to put the switch where it would turn on best without more wiring.Overall it works, but I had to add a lot of things to this to complete the install.

It was easy to install, a tad noisy, so have to turn up tv some but not much. Can't say anything for the longevity of product. It works as it should.
