Zero complaints, great product and quick shipping.
So far very impressed. I wish it had a rubberized handle instead of the metal handle as much of my work is done in extreme cold. But I knew what I was getting when I ordered it and it seems to be perfectly sufficient for me working on my classic car!

Perfect set for the homeowner DIYer and home mechanic.
November 3, 2019 I received this set today; I'm very happy with the quality of this set, especially as it contains both 3/8" and 1/4" drive ratchets, deep and shallow 6-point sockets, extensions all in one convenient, efficiently organized and strong carrying case. Chrome finish is well done, fit is excellent.May 8, 2020 Update: I have been using this set here at home as well as at my daughter's house; I love the great function and portability of this set. This contains everything you would need in 3/8" and 1/4", without the driver bits etc. found in other makers' sets to boost tool count. Recently I had an issue with one tool in the set, of my own fault. I contacted EP Auto who got back to me immediately and rectified the problem at no cost to me. Superb customer service, and an excellent set of tools!

One of the best complete sub-1/2" socket sets for the money
The Amazon Basics socket set was out of stock so I went with this one and after using it for a couple of weeks of daily use I must say I am impressed. It is one of the best sets for the DIY'er on a budget.A lot of people complain about how the tools don't snap into their locations in the case so if you open it upside-down they fall out everywhere but in my opinion it's much better this way as the tools are so much easier to remove and replace and you don't have to worry about yanking the whole case off the shelf trying to remove a socket like other cases. If you use some common sense and be mindful of the ARROWS ON THE CLIPS THAT POINT RIGHT-SIDE UP, then you won't have to worry about opening upside-down.The quality of the set is on par with some of the entry level tool brands such as Stanley and Craftsman but for much less. No chipping or flaking despite having exposed them to brake fluid and forgetting to clean them as well as dropping them. Suspiciously high quality for the money. Only the test of time will reveal their true quality but even if I only get a couple of years out of these tools, they will be in my opinion money well-spent.My only complaint is the lack of a 18 mm 3/8" drive deep-well. The set could also use a 3/8" universal adapter and I'm sure there's room for it in that case but other than that this is one of the best, if not the best socket set for the money. If they had a larger, more complete 3/8"/1/4" socket set I would have bought that!

Highly recommend this set for anyone looking for quality tools at a great value!
For the homeowner, the EPAuto 69 Pieces - 1/4" & 3/8" Drive Socket Set with Pear Head Ratchet is really nice and appears to be well made. I was actually surprised by how solid these felt during their first use. The ratchet mechanism had no slippage at all. Highly recommend this set for anyone looking for quality tools at a great value!

Best ever
This is the second time I bought this set. First time was a year ago for my brother. He said it's been the best set he's ever used. So I just bought another set for my father and he loves it!! Best set ever.

Does the Job
I love reading the reviews about this socket set that criticise it for not being a top-of-the-line set (i.e., critiquing the number of teeth in the ratchet gears). My simple thought is this: If you want Craftsman quality, buy Craftsman. Don't buy a Chevy and then complain that it's not a Rolls Royce. You get what you pay for.For someone that doesn't repair cars for a living, I wasn't looking for anything fancy or expensive. The number of times a year I need a socket set can probably be counted on one hand, but boy when you NEED a socket and ratchet and don't HAVE one - let me tell you, the irritation factor is about 100. I have loaned out so many sets of tools over the years that I never got back that I made the decision to stop spending big money for other peoples' collections. (I'm too nice a guy to simply stop loaning my tools out to people, so this was the only option left that made sense.) So when the time came recently that I was needing sockets more and more frequently, and the fellow I loaned my other set out to was "unavailable" for me to get them back, off to Amazon I went for yet another replacement.I came across these, saw the price, saw the number of sockets and ratchets you get with it, and I thought, "Eh, why not? If I don't get these back after loaning them out, I'm not out much." When they arrived the next day (I'm a Prime person) and I set them to task, they didn't come close to disappointing me. The fact that the ratchets don't click 3,000 times per complete revolution didn't phase me a bit. The sockets I used didn't slip, they didn't come off the ratchet, this set had the ones I needed (and one of them was a 15mm, which doesn't come standard in all sets) - they just worked like they're supposed to.Will I be taking these out and driving over them with an 18-wheeler to see if they hold up to severe abuse? Nah. Will I leave them out in the pouring rain for a week to see if they rust and corrode? Nope. I don't see myself working on anything in the pouring rain or underwater any time soon, so I don't care about that. Am I mad they don't have a fancy name stamped into each piece of the set? Nope. (And I'm a BMW 750Li driver, so yeah - I'll spend some mad money on some things, but on the things that it doesn't really matter? Pass.)If you're an occasional DIYer and just need a set of sockets to get the job done, these'll do ya just fine, and you won't have buyer's remorse if you don't use them more than a handful of times a year (or you loan them out and don't get them back...again). I won't hesitate to buy these again when the time comes, and I will certainly buy other tool sets from this manufacturer without giving it a second thought.
