Amazing little pruner!
I think Corona does a disservice to themselves by marketing these as “pruners for small hands”. I wear XXL gloves and I love these. They are small enough to comfortably fit in your pocket whilst tooling around your garden. My gardening is mostly vegetables with tropicals and roses. These are perfect for those applications. The cast construction is far nicer than the molded plastic handles that you normally see. You can’t go wrong with these (unless you’re trying to prune a giant sequoia).

Clippers appear to be of good quality.I love using the 1/2" pruners because they work better in my small hands.
Original review - The metal on the new 1/2 inch clippers is pitted and doesn't look like there was any quality control in the manufacturing. TheCorona products I have used in the past were much better quality. Too bad.I WANT TO CHANGE MY ORIGINAL REVIEW. I WAS LOOKING AT THE CLIPPERS THROUGH THE PACKAGING AND HADN'T DONE A THOROUGH INSPECTION YET. ONCE I HAD A CHANCE TO LOOK THEM OVER, I REALIZED THE APPEARANCE OF PITTING WAS MOSTLY BECAUSE OF THE UNEVEN LUBRICANT ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE BLADES. THE PRUNERS APPEAR TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY AND I WILL UPDATE MY REVIEW ONCE I GET A CHANCE TO USE THEM. APOLOGIES TO CORONA!

Good for the price
They are not Felco pruners, but the are strong enough to do the job for a decent period of time. Figure 3/4" to be the biggest branch you can prune.

Perfect garden tool
The blades are sharp. Easy to use. I have vintage Corona pruners and misplaced two of them. Always dut easily. this new one cuts to 1/2" stems. Very good tool to take care of my property. Prune around 150' plus of many types of shrubs.

This Pruner Works Great
After using Corona products for years, I purchased this one for my daughter, who has small hands. This pruner fits her grip well. She has no problem closing them and having them pop right back open. And she likes the color. . . !

Happy pruning with Corona
The 1/2" size works perfect for light to medium pruning. The "Classic" is exactly that for a good reason, it works well and lasts for decades. I also have some articulated - ergonomic Fiskars but will always reach for the Coronas first. If your pruning involves hard wood or thicker branches, I'd recommend going with the 3/4" or 1" size for extra leverage, but they also weigh more and need a larger hand.

little clippers
These are nice little clippers. But let me stress the term 'little'.They fit easily into my small-girly-hands and are perfect for very small diameter shrubs, sticks, etc. However, when pruning back my Salvia Karwinski, many of the older branches were too thick at @ 1" in diameter for a smooth, clean cut. Maybe my little-girly-hands just don't have the strength to make these larger than 1" cuts.Nonetheless, I'll need to purchase an additional pair of pruning shears to handle these larger sticks.

works well and fits my hand. Its very sharp ...
works well and fits my hand. Its very sharp so was able to cut up to 5/8 inch without too much trouble and if kept sharp I expect they will perform very well over time. My only issue was that the little loop that keeps the tool in the closed position, must have become pinched during use so that the hook no longer fits in it, preventing me from closing the tool. I am sure I will be able to adjust that with pliers, but a minor annoyance in the field.
